About Garden Dental Clinic (Bukit Timah)
Garden Dental Clinic (Bukit Timah) is a dental practice located at 491 Bukit Timah Road, within Botanic Gardens MRT Station, serving patients across Singapore. It is KakiList-verified and holds a 4.8/5 rating across 130 Google reviews — a robust sample that suggests consistent patient satisfaction. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$), though no specific fee schedule is publicly listed.
Patients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the dentist conducts an oral examination and may recommend diagnostic imaging such as periapical or panoramic X-rays. From there, a treatment plan is discussed covering any immediate concerns — fillings, scaling and polishing, extractions, or restorative or cosmetic work — alongside a recall schedule for preventive care. It is worth confirming the clinic's scope of services (general dentistry, orthodontics, implants, or specialist referral) when you call or submit an enquiry, as some procedures require a Singapore Dental Council-registered specialist rather than a general dental surgeon.
To book an appointment, contact Garden Dental Clinic (Bukit Timah) by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page. Mention any presenting concerns so the front desk can allocate the appropriate consultation time.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Dr. Baek is extremely helpful, friendly, and competent at his craft. I initially visited Dr. Baek in 2020 because of what was essentially a failed procedure at a different orthodontist, and my morale was very badly beaten down by the previous experience. Not only was Dr. Baek able to deliver on everything that the prior orthodontist failed to, he also continued to maintain an excellent level of after-treatment care. I would also like to credit/compliment his waiting room staff for their warmth and quick response times. I would give more than five stars if possible. Thank you Dr. Baek for saving my profile.
Great Doctors and service, fully recommend them 🤍🦷👩🏻⚕️ When you have a problem is when you see the quality of people. For example I had a bit of an issue with the timing of an appointment, I behaved as an unhappy customer and they respond with kindness and speed #Amazing
I found this dental clinic by chance. While traveling in China, I accidentally cracked a molar and did a quick fix so I could eat during the trip. When I got back home, there was no pain, but dental floss kept getting stuck in the gaps between my teeth. I tried calling several clinics last Sunday, but the earliest available appointment wasn’t until after the 2025 Lunar New Year due to long wait times and lab backlogs. So, I searched for a clinic that could offer same-day treatment and found Garden Dental Clinic. Dr. Kim was really friendly and explained that they could perform the procedure quickly because they have their own crown drilling machine. They removed the damaged tooth around noon, and before I left, Dr. Kim gave me an extra shot of anesthetic to ensure I wouldn’t feel discomfort during lunch. I returned around 3 pm and had the crown fitted. The quality is excellent, and Dr. Kim was very gentle, constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing fast, high-quality treatment. One important tip for visitors: If you’re taking the MRT, make sure to exit via EXIT B (Downtown Line area). If you accidentally exit via EXIT A, it’s not near the French Embassy. Instead, you’ll need to walk along the main road after leaving the station. DO NOT CROSS THE ROAD—walk towards the overhead bridge and continue following the path (in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic). After passing the bus stop and taxi stand, EXIT B will be on your right, and you can take the escalator down. Walk straight towards the washroom, and the clinic will be on your left.
Clinic Staff are all friendly, accommodating and can remember their patients. Also, they have a very good dentist that can understand her patient’s needs. My dental concern was explained & addressed/healed within the expected period given by the doctor. This is my first time going to a clinic here in Singapore and my experience with them was great. Will definitely recommend this dental clinic to my friends. Thank you!
I had been there for sports mouthguard. I have never had such a comfortable mouthguard. I always failed to find one suitable for my mouth because I have a very sensitive gag reflex. But thanks to Dr. Robin and the 3-D scanner in this clinic, it took only ten minutes or less. Also, I now have no difficulty in exercising with my own mouthguard. 🥊 Services are affordable and high standard. Thank you Dr. Robin and friendly staff for helping me out.

No specific fee schedule is publicly available for Garden Dental Clinic (Bukit Timah), and the clinic is priced in the mid-range ($$) bracket. As a general guide, dental consultations in Singapore typically run S$50–100, scaling and polishing S$80–150, tooth-coloured fillings S$150–300 per tooth, and extractions S$80–300 depending on complexity. Specialist procedures such as implants, orthodontic treatment, or root canal therapy carry significantly higher costs and are usually quoted after an assessment. GST applies to dental services. For most general dental services — scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, and routine check-ups — no referral is needed. Simply call or submit the enquiry form to book directly. For specialist procedures such as orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, or implantology, the clinic may conduct an initial assessment and, where necessary, refer you to a Singapore Dental Council-registered specialist. At your first visit, expect to complete a medical history form covering existing conditions, medications (particularly blood thinners or bisphosphonates), and any allergies, as these affect treatment planning and anaesthetic choices. Patients with dental anxiety should mention this at booking so the team can accommodate accordingly.
All practising dentists in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. General dental surgeons hold an SDC registration, while specialists — such as orthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and periodontists — hold an additional specialist registration in their respective discipline. Both registers are publicly searchable on the SDC website at dentalcouncil.gov.sg. No regulatory licence details are currently listed for Garden Dental Clinic (Bukit Timah) on this directory. Before your appointment, you may wish to verify the consulting dentist's SDC registration number, which should be displayed at the clinic or provided on request. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
