I’ve been with Geniebook for almost 6 years now — we started when my son was in K2, and he’s currently in P5. One thing I really appreciate is that the annual subscription per subject gives access to three levels of syllabus. So even though he’s in P5 now, we can still assign worksheets and lessons from P3 and P4. It makes revision of past topics very easy and structured, especially when he needs to strengthen his foundation. The system is very data-driven. We can clearly see which topics he’s weaker in and push more targeted practice. When it’s time for weighted assessments in school, we can also focus revision on specific topics that will be tested. It makes studying much more effective instead of just doing random practice. There are multiple lessons each week, and all classes are recorded. This flexibility helps a lot, especially on busy weeks. He can always revisit past lessons, so over the years they’ve built up quite an extensive learning library. I also appreciate that our student council advisor, Natasha, calls us monthly with updates and sends monthly report cards. It really helps us stay involved and understand exactly where he stands academically. Over the past 6 years, I’ve seen many new features added to the app. In a way, we’re paying the same subscription but getting more value each year as the platform keeps improving. Most importantly, my child actually enjoys it. The bubble rewards system motivates him — he earns bubbles for correct answers and participates in monthly study challenges. He can redeem bubbles for toys or gift cards from the bubble store, which makes learning feel rewarding and fun. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with this company and the app. It has been a consistent and reliable part of my son’s learning journey.

Parents, please think carefully before signing up — what’s promised and what you actually experience can be very different. Sign-up and payment are smooth, but when refund issues arise, communication becomes unclear and painfully slow. No refund policy was explained upfront, yet refunds are later denied — very misleading. Even after escalating to management, there was no real effort to resolve the issue. Learn from our experience and make sure everything is put in writing before you commit.

I had a truly outstanding experience, thanks to Marcus. I initially told him during a rooadshow at Westgate that I wouldn't be available to consider signing up for the program for about seven months. I will consider after the period. To my surprise and delight, Marcus not only remembered but reached out exactly when I said I would be ready. This level of dedicated, long-term follow-up is rare and speaks volumes about his professionalism. When we connected, he didn't rush the process. He took the time to call me and patiently walk through the entire programme content, ensuring all my questions were answered and I fully understood what was being offered. Very disappointing experience with Geniebook. After making an enquiry, I received persistent and pushy sales calls, even after expressing hesitation. The approach felt more like hard-selling than genuine consultation for a child’s learning needs. The packages are also extremely overpriced for what is offered, with strong pressure to commit to long-term, upfront payments. Important details around pricing, commitment length, and refund policies were not explained clearly unless you specifically pressed for them. While the platform may work for some students, the sales tactics and lack of transparency left a bad impression. Parents should be cautious, ask very detailed questions, and compare alternatives before signing up. I hope Geniebook reviews its sales practices and focuses more on trust and customer experience rather than aggressive conversion.

Studying at Geniebook was an amazing experience for me! It proved to help support me in my academics and, it too, proved to be a core memory of my childhood. One of the subjects that improved drastically is Science. I subscribed to Geniebook for three years now, and my Science teacher, Teachers Allen and Shafaq have helped me pass several WAs, examinations, and practice papers with flying colours. Especially Teacher Allen; she provided me support whenever I felt that the amount of homework I've received was too much. She calmly and patiently guided me through the tough questions that I can now do easily! So, Teacher Allen, THANK YOU! Thank you so much for all your love and support! Of course, I can't forget about Teacher Shafaq! She, too, when Teacher Allen was on breaks, helped me with my queries! They're both positive and bright, and it served as an anchor to reality when I felt down. Thank you again to Teachers Allen and Shafaq--you guys are the best! [P.S.
