About Gentle Seeds
Gentle Seeds is a holiday camp provider operating islandwide from a base at Bishan Park, Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Parents enquiring about holiday camps should clarify the age group and thematic focus of each camp to confirm it suits their child's level and interests. It is worth asking whether the programme runs as a single-day workshop or a multi-day block, whether group sizes are capped, and what the adult-to-child ratio looks like. Gentle Seeds can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form — WhatsApp is typically the fastest channel for checking upcoming schedules and availability. Ask whether a trial or one-day drop-in option exists before committing to a full camp week.
To take the next step, contact Gentle Seeds directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to confirm the upcoming camp schedule, age-group suitability, and total cost including any materials fee before registering.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I was initially hesitant about whether my daughter could handle having her first drop off class without me. It took just one nature walk with Teacher Madeline and Teacher Anabel for all my worries and hesitation to dissipate. The care in selecting purposeful books and the openness they have towards children and their emotions is something to be respected of. From at first being hesitant herself, my daughter now requests for me to let her go for nature walks with her teachers everyday. Our weekly nature classes with Teacher Madeline and Teacher Anabel is truly a highlight of the week. Looking forward to joining back these nature walks with GS whenever we are in Singapore.
Nature study with Gentle Seeds is definitely my daughter’s most memorable ‘enrichment’ class. We attended weekly classes at both Bishan Park and Botanic Gardens as well as a holiday programme at Coney Island. Teacher Madeline, Joey and Anabel left such an impression that despite us stopping class for close to a year due to schedule conflict, she still speaks so fondly of them. What she learnt during her time with Gentle Seeds still sticks with her as I observe how observant she is when we go on our family hikes, and how she insists on journaling what she sees, something she learnt when she was with Gentle Seeds. Can’t wait for our younger son to be fully potty trained so he can start his journey with Gentle Seeds!
Best choice to send my nephew (3yo) on the nature walk with Gentle Seeds. He was sharing and recounting the different things he saw even after the session, narrating his experience with his animated body language and limited vocabulary. You can tell how much he enjoyed it! It was a fresh and new experience for him and Teacher Madeline was very patient in guiding the session while allowing the children to also explore and be creative and curious. Love the approach and passion Gentle seeds have for the children that comes their way!
I am so glad that we found gentle seeds! Isaac looks forward to his weekly walk with Teacher Madeline and Teacher Anabel where they explore and learn about nature! The teachers are not only very engaging but are also really gentle with the children! Isaac comes back with lots of stories each week and have learnt how to observe, interpret and communicate his thoughts when we are out for walks :) thankful for Gentle Seeds and i highly recommend it!
I'm so glad to have chanced upon Gentle Seeds. My 3.5 year old was very quickly comfortable with Teacher Madeline who helped her assimilate into the class comfortably despite never having attended classes of such nature before. I really appreciate that every lesson is different and the lesson planning really takes advantage of what the park has to offer to optimise learning for the kids. Really love that my urban girl has the chance to get her feet muddy, learn about trees, flowers and so much more once a week. Since it's a drop off class, I always look forward to the updates Teacher Madeline sends after and in her observations, it's clear she pays a lot of attention to the kids individually. Very happy my daughter has a space where she can be her extroverted, curious self within a gentle structure of nature, play, exploration, break time, storytelling and journalling. Gentle Seeds has been a really meaningful slice of her weekend and we always look forward to going!

Gentle Seeds does not publish a specific per-session or per-camp rate publicly. Holiday camps in Singapore typically range from S$30–80 per day for group programmes, with multi-day blocks often priced as a package. You should confirm the full cost directly with Gentle Seeds, including any materials or activity fees that may be charged on top of the base camp fee. Ask whether a sibling discount or early-bird rate applies, and clarify the cancellation and refund policy before paying. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →
Holiday camps are typically structured as multi-day blocks, so a traditional trial class may not always be available. It is worth asking Gentle Seeds directly whether a single-day drop-in option exists, or whether your child can join for one session before you commit to the full programme. When assessing fit, look at how the session is structured — whether it balances activity and rest, how the facilitators manage group dynamics, and whether the content level matches your child's age and experience. If a trial is not offered, ask for a detailed programme outline and speak with the team via WhatsApp or phone before registering. This gives you a clearer picture of what to expect.
Gentle Seeds has not publicly listed specific facilitator qualifications or backgrounds. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about the team's experience working with children, any relevant training in early childhood education, outdoor learning, or the specific theme of the camp, and what the adult-to-child ratio will be during sessions. For holiday camps, formal teaching certification is not mandated in the same way as for registered schools, but experience, programme structure, and safeguarding protocols are meaningful indicators of quality. Contact Gentle Seeds directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to request this information before registering.
