About Ginza Dental Surgery
Ginza Dental Surgery is a dental clinic located at Blk 612 Clementi West Street 1, serving residents in the Clementi area and across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5, though this is based on 10 reviews and should be treated as directional only.
New patients typically begin with a first consultation covering a clinical examination and, where needed, X-rays to assess oral health before any treatment plan is discussed. It is worth confirming the consultation fee upfront, as dental fees in Singapore vary by procedure — routine scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, and more involved restorative or orthodontic work are all priced differently. Patients should also ask whether the clinic accepts Medisave (for applicable surgical procedures), MediShield Life, or integrated shield plan panels, as coverage can reduce out-of-pocket costs meaningfully. Appointments can be made by phone or via the enquiry form on the listing.
To get started, contact Ginza Dental Surgery directly by phone or form to confirm appointment availability, the consultation fee, and whether your dental insurance or Medisave applies to the treatment you need.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Had an ache before a trip and rushed here, just in time to be the last patient before the clinic closes. Dr Tan was very patient and did a spot xray on three of my tooth to rule out tooth decay. Both Dr Tan and the nurse didnt rush things to knock off on time, they OT 10min because of me! The bill was less than $150 to my pleasant surprise, with xray, consultation, medicine etc. Very pocket friendly prices. Expiry date of medicine clearly labelled, save me from straining my eyes to check it on the reflective metallic part. Such attentive gesture speaks volume. For easier access, go via the badminton court between block 611 and 612. This clinic is located beside a vet, which is beside berries enrichment center.
Enjoyed my appointment with Dr Tan. She is gentle, considerate, professional and skilful. She takes time and care to do your teeth well and advise on proper maintenance. She only recommends the necessary and will not overdo/rack up charges which I really appreciate. The charges are very reasonable and the clinic manager, Phyllis is thoughtful and professional. I really had a good time there, haha. My smile is so much nicer and brighter. Thank you so much!
I highly recommend Dr.Tan. She is very skillful and seriously I felt no pain at all through the entire process. She gave me her sincere opinions and advised me what to do for the best of my well-being. ❤️
Had my first visit to the dentist in years. Reluctance to visit a dentist was at its highest. Had a good experience at Ginza Dental Surgery. The Dr was patient and assuring in explaining the process that she would be undertaking. She was also skillful in the treatment. I didn’t had much discomfort. She had good rapport with her assistant. It made the atmosphere lighthearted. I would definitely visit this lovely dentist again
First time wanting to write a review. Absolutly loved Dr Tan on my first visit, she is skillful and has the patient's best interests at heart. Would look foward to coming back to her in future.

Dental fees in Singapore are not standardised, so costs vary by procedure. A first consultation with examination and X-rays typically runs S$50–120 at a general dental clinic. Common procedures include scaling and polishing (S$80–150), composite fillings (S$100–250 per tooth), simple extractions (S$80–200), surgical extractions (S$300–800), and root canal treatment (S$800–1,500+ depending on the tooth). Orthodontic and implant work runs considerably higher. Medisave can be used for approved surgical dental procedures (up to S$950–1,250 per year depending on the procedure type). Confirm the exact fee schedule and payment options directly with Ginza Dental Surgery before proceeding with treatment. See the full Dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to visit a general dental clinic — you can book directly by phone or via the enquiry form. At the first visit, the dentist will conduct a clinical examination and may take X-rays to assess your oral health before recommending a treatment plan. It is helpful to bring any recent dental records or X-rays if you are transferring from another clinic. If you have a complex condition — such as advanced gum disease, impacted wisdom teeth, or are considering implants or orthodontic treatment — the dentist may refer you to a specialist (periodontist, oral surgeon, or orthodontist). For patients claiming on an integrated shield plan or corporate dental benefits, check your insurer's panel list before booking, as some plans require you to visit a listed clinic to qualify for reimbursement.
All dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which operates under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the SDC's public register at moh.gov.sg. Dental clinics must also hold an MOH clinic licence under the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act. Specialist dentists — such as orthodontists, periodontists, or oral surgeons — hold an additional specialist registration. Ginza Dental Surgery does not currently list its regulatory licences on this KakiList profile. Before your appointment, you may wish to confirm the consulting dentist's name and verify their SDC registration directly on the MOH register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
