About Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre

About Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre

Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre is a round-the-clock urgent care facility located at 6A Napier Rd, Singapore 258500, within the Gleneagles Hospital complex. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The centre holds a 3.5/5 rating across 482 Google reviews — a robust sample, though the below-average score relative to similar private urgent care settings is worth noting before your visit. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) on a per-visit basis; specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly.

Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre operates outside standard clinic hours, making it a port of call for acute but non-life-threatening conditions — lacerations, high fevers, gastroenteritis, sprains, and similar presentations — as well as for patients who need timely access to diagnostics such as blood panels, X-rays, or urinalysis without waiting for a weekday specialist appointment. On arrival, a triage nurse will assess urgency before the consulting doctor reviews your case. Investigations and prescriptions can typically be arranged within the same visit. For Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders, confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before attending, as urgent care visits may or may not be covered depending on your plan tier and rider; MediSave can be applied to selected outpatient consultations within the S$500 annual withdrawal limit or under the Chronic Disease Management Programme where applicable. For true emergencies — chest pain, stroke symptoms, major trauma, difficulty breathing — proceed directly to Gleneagles Hospital's emergency department or call 995.

To arrange a visit, call the centre directly or submit an enquiry via the contact form on their listing; no appointment is required for urgent walk-in cases, though calling ahead during peak hours may reduce waiting time.

Had the best experience here having surgery and staying for 3 nights. Single room was so comfortable and quiet so I could rest, all the nurses on ward 10W were wonderful and the food was good also. Great experience beginning to end

Im writing this feedback just in case if the valet man(look like Malay. I might be wrong, sorry) at 1220 pm on 7th March 2026 would get a complain from the inconsiderate lady who leave her car at the main lobby pickup and drop off and go do her things. Nowadays, employers only care about service recovery or the customers' feedback while not thinking about their employees. Not all customers are always right. Many are in the wrong. Was waiting for my grabcar after my checkup. Saw a valet man telling a lady nicely and politely that cannot leave the car in the middle of the pickup and drop off at Main lobby. She just leave her car there and go inside to do something. Causing inconvenience for other vehicles. There are patients on wheelchairs that can only wait at the main lobby area and her vehicle would cause them to wheel patients quite a distance. There are also elderly and those with legs injuries who still can walk but only a short distance here since it is a hospital. When she is done with whatever her errand is, the valet kindly remind her that cannot leave ur vehicle in the middle for long at the main pick up point, she is not happy. She told him " dont be nasty okay? This is a hospital. Have some compassion". She is the one raising her voice. Not the valet man. Yes, this is a hospital. Need compassion/consideration. But did she show compassion/consideration to the rest of the people thats waiting to be picked up by their loved ones after their hospitalisation/check up?

My loved one had a head injury and was admitted for about a week in the ICU then down ward to a regular ward. The nurses esp in the ICU were exceptional. They were compassionate, gentle, patient and attentive. My heartfelt thanks to all the nurses who helped to make my trying times more bearable. If there was a fine bone to pick, then probably will be the finance part not very helpful in insurance processing, that I had to cough out a few tens of thousands as deposit in the initial stage. While I could afford this, some may have difficulties in raising such amount on the same day / within days after admission.

I’ve been hospitalized at Gleneagles many times, and my experience on Level 10 just keeps getting better 👏. Doctors are top-notch, nurses genuinely caring, and the TLC from staff has become more polished with every visit. It’s a huge comfort knowing you’re in safe, attentive hands while staying in an environment that feels calming and premium 🌿💙. In the past, mornings at admissions felt understaffed 😅 — but I’m glad to see they’ve stepped up. Today, service flows smoothly, and it shows how much Gleneagles is evolving. For me, this remains the gold standard of private healthcare in Singapore — consistent, comforting, and always improving ✨🏥.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre charge?

Specific consultation fees were not published at the time of listing, so confirm the current rate by calling the centre before attending. As a general guide, private urgent care and 24-hour clinic consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per visit, with after-hours and weekend surcharges of 20–50% on top of the base fee. Investigations are billed separately: blood panels S$60–200, X-rays S$80–150, urine tests S$20–60, and ECGs S$30–80. Prescriptions carry an additional dispensing charge. GST applies on all private medical services. For planned or non-urgent visits, a polyclinic referral to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) costs S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens after subsidy — a meaningful saving if urgency allows the wait. For any procedure requiring sedation or day surgery, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that splits your Integrated Shield Plan payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences were listed in the provider data at the time this entry was compiled. As Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre operates within the Gleneagles Hospital complex — a private hospital regulated under the Healthcare Services Act — the facility is expected to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence, but this should be confirmed directly with the centre or by searching the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). You can verify any consulting doctor by name at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. For specialist-level care, look for a relevant fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) beyond basic SMC registration. Verify both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Gleneagles 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Urgent care visits may or may not trigger IP coverage depending on whether the plan classifies the attendance as outpatient or emergency — confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer before attending if you intend to claim, and request a Letter of Guarantee for any planned procedure. MediSave can be applied to selected outpatient consultations under the S$500 annual withdrawal limit, or up to S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, stroke, selected mental health conditions, and others. Separate MediSave limits of S$200–600 apply to outpatient cancer treatment and kidney dialysis. For any procedure, request a financial counselling session so the clinic can issue an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and cash portions in writing. Skipping this step is the most common cause of bill surprises at private facilities.
