About Gooberr

About Gooberr

Gooberr is a confinement food caterer operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList and is ACRA-registered. Based on 20 Google reviews, the service holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 — a moderate sample that suggests consistent customer satisfaction, though parents are encouraged to read individual reviews for detail. Pricing sits in the mid-range ($$) and is structured as packages.

Parents considering Gooberr should start by confirming which dietary tradition the menu follows — whether Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian — and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package or billed separately. The standard offering is a 28-day package with typically two hot deliveries per day (lunch and dinner), though some providers add a breakfast tray. Confirm the daily delivery windows, the cooked-to-delivery freshness window, and whether packaging is BPA-free and microwave-safe. Before committing to a full package, ask whether a single-day trial meal is available — this is the most reliable way to assess whether the flavours and portion sizes suit you, as confinement appetite and preferences can shift significantly after delivery.

To get started, reach out to Gooberr via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request a menu, confirm the package options and delivery coverage for your address, and arrange a trial meal before paying any deposit.

Love the smell of COCO Oat! My dry skin feels so soft after a 15 mins mask face of coco oat with honey & lemon. Best of all, it works as a face scrub and it's so gentle on the skin. Recommend this to anyone who loves organic skincare!

These lovely tasting cookies work so well for me! I’m exclusively breastfeeding my 5 weeks old baby. On days when he cluster feeds, I would take 8 cookies with a cup of full cream milk and viola, the milk supply will kick in soon enough! It’s amazing to hear my baby gulping and gulping despite his last feed being just one hour ago! I can go back to work with more confidence too because I know these cookies will help to maintain a good supply to prolong my breastfeeding journey! Personal favorite - Good old chocolate chip and white choc earl grey!

I love gooberr’s white chocolate earl grey cookies! It’s not too sweet & has that fragrant smell from the earl grey tea leaves infused in it. It’s also bite size, fairly thin & easy to eat, considering the fact that I seldom snack. I love their ginger tea as well, a good perk me up in the morning & for me to get started with work. To be honest, there wasn’t a significant increase in milk supply for me. However, I did realize that my milk was creamier & thicker on days when I consumed the cookies & tea, and that’s good enough for my little one.:)

The lactation cookies are seriously yummy and not too sweet! I couldn't stop eating them! Furthermore, I waited for my supply to stabilise before I consumed them, and they were good even after 2 months! Also, my yield increased right after I ate the cookies! Bee calm works really well too. My baby had some redness around the neck and it went away after a day (I only applied once)! Definitely good quality products and will purchase again! :))

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Gooberr charge for a confinement food package?

Gooberr uses a package pricing model positioned in the mid-range ($$). In the Singapore market, 28-day confinement food packages typically run S$1,200–2,800, depending on the number of trays per day, the dietary tradition, and whether herbal soups and tonics are included. Shorter trial or partial packages — 7-day or 14-day — are offered by many caterers and can be useful if you are only partially covered by a confinement nanny or have a shorter planned confinement period. Confirm directly with Gooberr whether the quoted price includes herbal soups, red dates tea, and longan tea, or whether these are add-ons. Also check whether there is a delivery surcharge for landed properties or addresses outside central Singapore. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does Gooberr follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food caterers typically follow one of several culinary traditions — Cantonese (the most common, featuring warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and sometimes rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. The tradition determines not just the flavours but the herbal profile and the ingredients used in recovery-focused dishes. Contact Gooberr directly to confirm which tradition their menu is based on, whether the menu rotates daily or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether breastfeeding-friendly adjustments — such as reduced spice or alcohol-free versions — are available. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day trial meal at around S$30–60 before you commit to a full package. This is strongly recommended, as personal taste in the postpartum period is highly individual and cannot be assessed from a menu alone.

Is Gooberr licensed and how is food safety handled?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Gooberr on KakiList. For a confinement food catering operation, the expected credentials are an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence with a published hygiene grade (A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D), and — where halal meals are offered — a MUIS halal certificate that should appear on all packaging. Parents should ask Gooberr directly to confirm the SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before paying a deposit. Confinement meals should be cooked on the day of delivery and dispatched hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the daily delivery time slots, the packaging type, and the caterer's policy in the event a delivery is missed or arrives outside the expected window. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade — and MUIS halal certificate if relevant — before paying the package deposit.
