It is worth asking upfront whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. I am writing this review to express my sincere appreciation towards Good School. I am an express student who took the A math O Level examinations in 2025. At the start of my secondary 3 A math journey, i found myself struggling to keep up with the content taught at school as A math is a very complicated subject and it did not help that my school teacher was rushing through the topics. Hence, I made a choice and decided to seek help here at Good School. My tutor, Mr Zhang helped me thoroughly with my studies. From patiently explaining the complex topics to answering all my burning questions , i knew i could always count on Mr Zhang to help me understand them. Aside from the tutors, Good School also has many facilities such as the study corner to help provide a conducive study space even before class starts. If I were to retake O Levels again, i would no doubt choose Good School!

I am writing this letter to express my sincere appreciation and satisfaction with Good Sch Learning Hub for the remarkable impact they have had on my academic performance, particularly in English comprehension. Before joining Good Sch, I consistently struggled with comprehension and was scoring a B4 in exams despite putting in regular effort. However, after attending lessons at the centre, my results improved significantly, and I eventually achieved an A1. This transformation is a testament to the effectiveness of their teaching methods and the dedication. One of the key strengths of Good Sch Learning Hub lies in their structured and targeted approach to comprehension. Thanks to the dedicated support and effective comprehension strategies at Good Sch Learning Hub.

Math had always been my strong suit since lower secondary, however taking A math in Sec 3 led to the downfall of my math grades, as I could not comprehend the topics being taught to me in school. Being in a top class, I've always felt inferior to my classmates who were consistently scoring A1s effortlessly, while I was still stuck at F9 even with my utmost effort. As a result, I applied to The Good School, hoping to turn the tides. The first few lessons with Mr Zhang was not the smoothest. After all, this was my first time in a tuition centre, so I didn't really understand what was to be expected from me. However, Mr Zhang had been nothing but kind and patient to me. He has taught Amath in a way that was simple to understand, yet clear and concise, even suggesting strategys to tackle specific questions along the way. Moreover, Mr Zhang did share with the class his own academic struggles, having been in the same position as me when he was in Sec3. This made me feel inspired, and determined that I could finally pass Amath. To my surprise, I had gotten from F9 to A2 for Sec3 EOY. I could not help but shed tears of joy that day, and I am so thankful to Mr Zhang for helping me to accomplish what I taught was impossible in the past. Please consider joining The Good School! When I was in primary school, Mathematics was always my favourite subject. I used to score full marks in almost every test. However, once I entered Secondary 2, things became more complicated, and I began to fall behind. For my final-year exams, I even failed, almost having to repeat the year. That was when I found Mr Zhang and Good School Learning Hub. From the very first lesson, Mr Zhang planned out the steps I needed to take. He made sure I rebuilt my basics and developed a strong foundation before moving into Secondary 3. In school, I often struggled to understand the teachers’ explanations and could not grasp the different methods taught. But Mr Zhang explained everything in his own clear and magical way, which made learning so much easier. What made his lessons special was the way he taught — always creating a friendly and light atmosphere. He often used real-life examples or casual chats to make things interesting, and I can honestly say I always looked forward to his classes. As someone who usually hates studying and finds it hard to sit still, his lessons were the one exception — they never felt like a chore. Joining Good School and being taught by Mr Zhang was truly one of the best decisions I’ve made. With his guidance, I went from failing to consistently scoring As. My parents and I are both deeply grateful for the effort he put into teaching me. More than just a tutor, he has been someone I could talk to and rely on for advice, and he continues to keep in touch even now that I am studying in the UK. I genuinely appreciate everything Mr Zhang has done for me. His lessons have not only helped me academically but have also made learning enjoyable again. I could not have asked for a better teacher and mentor. Iestyn John, Anglo Chinese School (Independant)

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Good School Learning Hub" charge per session?

Good School Learning Hub has not published specific per-session rates, so it is best to enquire directly for a current fee schedule. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session basis, as part of a monthly package, or by term. Rates vary depending on the subject, academic level, and whether the format is group or one-to-one — group sessions are generally more affordable, while one-to-one tuition commands a premium. Additional costs to ask about may include a registration or enrolment fee, materials or workbooks, and sibling or package discounts for families enrolling more than one child or committing to multiple subjects. Some centres charge a separate fee for a trial class, while others offer the first session at no cost. See the full Tuition Centres cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing to "Good School Learning Hub"?

Many tuition centres offer a trial class — either at a reduced fee or as part of the standard session rate — before parents are asked to commit to a full term or monthly package. It is worth confirming with Good School Learning Hub whether a trial is available and what it costs. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess several things: whether the teaching pace and style suit your child, whether the content level is appropriately matched to their current standing, and whether your child feels engaged and comfortable in the classroom environment. For group classes, the class size and the mix of students relative to your child's level also matter. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a session or whether there is a no-commitment first-month policy before a term fee applies.

What are the tutors' credentials at "Good School Learning Hub"?

Specific tutor credentials for Good School Learning Hub are not publicly listed, so it is recommended that you ask directly during your enquiry. Relevant information to request includes whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have a teaching qualification such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from NIE, and how many years of teaching or tutoring experience they have. It is also worth confirming that the tutor assigned to your child is familiar with the specific syllabus — whether that is the MOE primary or secondary curriculum, the O-Level or A-Level examinations, or an international programme such as IB or IGCSE. Syllabus alignment makes a meaningful difference to exam preparation. If the centre uses multiple tutors, ask whether your child will have consistency with one assigned tutor throughout the term.
