Families and students considering Ace Your Econs should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether that is the MOE 'A' Level H1 or H2 Economics syllabus, or another curriculum. It is worth clarifying whether tuition is conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the typical class size is, and whether sessions are held at the Arumugam Road centre or offered online. Ask about term commitment expectations and whether a trial class is available before signing up for a longer package. My daughter, Celeste from HCI, first got to know about Mr Jeffrey Teo and Ace Your Econs through strong recommendations from her secondary school science tutor. From the first lesson, it was clear that Mr Teo is not just an excellent tutor, but also a passionate educator who truly understands how to help students succeed. What sets Mr Teo apart is his structured and well-designed teaching approach. He breaks down complex Economic concepts into clear, logical steps and provides students with concise notes and frameworks that make exam application much easier. As a concerned parent, I especially appreciate how he consistently updates parents on progress and encourages accountability in his students. Under his guidance & superb tutelage, Celeste’s results improved significantly in just four to five months — and more importantly, she has gained the confidence and clarity to tackle Economics questions independently. Mr Teo goes beyond teaching; he mentors his students, constantly motivating them to reach their full potential. I am deeply grateful for his commitment, patience, and care. For any parent still considering whether Mr Jeffrey Teo is the right fit — he absolutely is. He is dedicated, experienced, and sincerely invested in every student’s success.
I got to know Mr Teo through a friend who was also taking Economics tuition, and I decided to give it a try. Mr Teo goes through concepts in a clear, step-by-step manner His lessons are very structured, and he provides us with more than enough resources to support our studies. He also emphasises key concepts and highlights important points to look out for when tackling essay questions. Furthermore, the regular practices and daily reflection questions helped instill a consistent work ethic, motivating me to put in effort even beyond the tuition classes. This greatly improved my understanding of the various econs concepts and made me enjoy studying the subject as a whole. Mr Teo also takes the time to clarify any doubts we may have, frequently checking in with us during and even outside of lessons. Through his lessons and crash courses, I was able to strengthen my content knowledge and improve my essay writing skills. Overall, I would highly recommend choosing Mr Teo as your Economics tutor.
I am Zhi Tung from DHS and I really enjoy the classes. Mr Teo is very meticulous when teaching my class and exposes us to more questions to allow us to be better prepared for exams. He also makes classes quite lighthearted with his kahoot quizzes and gives snacks to those who perform well :)
I'm HB, ive been with Mr Teo for the last 2 years and ive been studying in ASRJC. Ive got to know Mr Teo as someone recommended him to my mum as I entered JC. I would say that Mr Teo's manner of teaching is probably the most effective given how the JC system doesn't really have the time to go through essays and emphasis on exam readiness. As such his system of online pre recorded lessons, which directly target the key requirements of the syllabus, ensuring that the essential skills that need to be practiced can be emphasised on in class. As such my confidence in class and before exams has been at an all time high and ive never scored below a B until now! I'd highly recommend you to join this center if your fixed on taking econs tuition as his resources are Immense and seemingly unlimited and his punctuality/ strict commitment ensures that your Econs is a subject that you will get a hand of in due time, you just gotta trust the process. I highly recommend him as a tutor as he has ensured my success and im sure he will ensure your A too.
Helloo I’m Sofia, a year 2 at Millennia Institute. I got to know AceYourEcons from searching online for econs tuitions to improve my grades! I think Mr Teo is really good at incorporating application in our revision, and exposing us to questions from other schools and preparing us for our As. I really appreciate how he looks out for us holistically — through checking our work thoroughly, giving us appropriate feedback, and even just providing us snacks in class. He’s really accommodating and if we aren’t able to make it for lessons in person, we always have the freedom to join online! The portal where we have all our work submissions, and papers is really organised and it’s easy for me to navigate helping the flow of lessons go smoothly. There are even videos of past lessons so we can easily refer to them in case we need to review topics with Mr Teo’s teachings at the same time. I’ve gotten more comfortable identifying topics and question types, which is helpful in exams since it’s easy to freeze up. I’ve managed to see a jump in my grades, from U to a B and I’m so incredibly happy to see that improvement thanks to Mr Teo’s guidance.

Many economics tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced rate or at the standard session price, to allow students to assess fit before committing to a term or package. During a trial, pay attention to whether the teaching style suits the student's learning preferences, whether the pace and level are appropriate for the student's current understanding, and whether the tutor actively engages the class. It is also useful to observe how the tutor handles questions and whether the lesson connects economic concepts to real-world examples or examination technique. Ask Ace Your Econs directly whether a trial session is available and what the cost and format would be, as policies vary between providers.
Specific tutor credentials — such as NIE or MOE teaching experience, university degree, or years of teaching — are not detailed in the listing. For an economics-focused centre, relevant qualifications typically include a degree in Economics or a related discipline, and experience teaching the MOE 'A' Level H1 or H2 Economics syllabus. Prospective students and parents are encouraged to ask Ace Your Econs directly about the tutors' academic backgrounds, whether they have prior MOE school teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching the specific syllabus. Reviewing existing student testimonials and asking about past students' examination results can also help gauge the centre's track record. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
