About Grace Lodge

About Grace Lodge

Grace Lodge is a home nursing provider serving clients islandwide from its base at 19 Compassvale Walk. The listing has been verified by KakiList and is ACRA registered. It holds a 4.2/5 rating across 53 Google reviews, a moderate sample that gives reasonable directional confidence. Hourly pricing is available on enquiry.

When engaging a home nursing provider, the typical starting point is a care assessment that maps the elder's medical needs, mobility level, and daily living requirements. Grace Lodge offers home nursing on an hourly basis, so families should clarify the minimum engagement per visit, the scope of clinical care provided (wound dressing, medication administration, post-hospitalisation monitoring, catheter care), and whether nursing staff hold recognised qualifications. It is worth confirming whether a registered nurse or an enrolled nurse attends each visit, and whether the service can scale hours up or down as the elder's condition changes. Families should also involve all key decision-makers early, as care plans often require coordination between the provider, the elder's physician, and the family.

To take the next step, call or submit an enquiry form to Grace Lodge directly, describe the elder's current medical situation and required hours, and request a written care plan with itemised hourly rates before committing.

There are 2 occasions recently that the order taking lady did not want to take our orders just because there were too many orders in front of us. we reached there at 5.20pm that was before the cut off time 5.45pm according to the order taking lady. Waste our trip there as we are not staying nearby and need to rush for my child tuition at 6pm. We are very disappointed with this kind of service as they are not compassionate towards people who are vegetarian. Not easy to find pure vegetarian food in such a rush. We dare not go there anymore as we scare of being rejected as we are unable to know whether they have many orders in front of us. We hope that they can extent their hour to 8pm in order to promote and encourage more people to go vegetarian. 阿弥陀佛。

Went there several times for its vegetarian meals. Surprisingly attracted quite an amount of people, especially during 1st and 15th of the lunar month. The food is great but the queue system doesn't seem to be very efficient and in turn affected their own service attitude.

A quiet and peaceful place to have a cup of tea or coffee and also good vegetarian food in an air condition canteen with a television switch on. Parking fee is not high, the canteen is at level 2 and very near the lift. The canteen opens from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm from Monday to Saturday, close on Sunday. First Posted : 01/01/2018( Monday ). Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Grace Lodge charge?

Grace Lodge operates on an hourly pricing model, with rates available on direct enquiry. For context, home nursing in Singapore typically runs S$20–60 per hour depending on the nurse's qualification level (enrolled nurse vs registered nurse), the complexity of care required, and whether visits fall on public holidays or weekends, which usually attract a surcharge. Beyond the hourly rate, confirm in writing whether there is a minimum number of hours per visit, any agency or administrative fee, consumables such as wound dressings or gloves, and transport charges for islandwide coverage. A written care plan with clear cost breakdowns helps avoid surprises. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Grace Lodge offer?

Grace Lodge provides home nursing on an hourly, visit-based model rather than live-in care. This suits families who need clinical nursing support for specific tasks — wound care, medication management, post-discharge monitoring — at scheduled intervals rather than around-the-clock supervision. Families should clarify the minimum visit duration, how frequently a nurse can attend each week, and whether the scope covers personal care alongside clinical tasks. If needs escalate, ask whether Grace Lodge can increase hours or coordinate with other care services. A short trial period of two to four weeks is advisable before locking in a longer arrangement, and the care scope, hours, and rate should be confirmed in writing.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Home nursing involves clinical tasks that require formal nursing qualifications. When engaging Grace Lodge, ask specifically whether visiting staff are registered nurses (RNs) or enrolled nurses (ENs) — both are regulated by the Singapore Nursing Board — and request sight of their practising certificates if you wish to verify independently. Note that Grace Lodge does not currently list AIC or MOH registration in its public profile, so families should ask directly about regulatory status and clinical governance. Confirm also whether the company carries professional indemnity or public liability insurance covering incidents that occur during a home visit. AIC-registered home care providers are subject to quality standards set by the Agency for Integrated Care, which offers additional assurance for clinical home nursing services.
