About Green Avenue Pte Ltd

About Green Avenue Pte Ltd

Green Avenue Pte Ltd is an eldercare provider operating islandwide from its premises at 1 Lorong 23 Geylang, Block 5, Singapore 388352, offering nursing home services. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. One Google review at a rating of 1/5 is too small a sample to draw any meaningful conclusion about service quality, and families should treat this figure with considerable caution.

When considering a nursing home placement, families typically begin by conducting a care needs assessment covering the elder's mobility, medical diagnoses, cognitive status, and personal care requirements. This informs whether a nursing home is appropriate versus home nursing visits or a senior day care arrangement. It is advisable to arrange an in-person visit to Green Avenue Pte Ltd to observe the physical environment, staffing levels, daily programming, and meal provision, and to speak directly with the care team. Key questions to raise include the nurse-to-resident ratio, on-site medical support, fall-prevention protocols, visiting hours, and how behavioural or medical changes are communicated to families. Where the elder holds a long-term care insurance policy or is eligible for MediShield Life or ElderShield/CareShield Life payouts, confirm whether the facility is an approved provider for claims.

Contact Green Avenue Pte Ltd directly by phone or through the enquiry form to request a facility visit, clarify current bed availability, and obtain a written fee schedule before making any commitment. Listing data is incomplete — contact Green Avenue Pte Ltd directly to confirm details.

This is the worse nursing home you could ever encounter. Do not, I’m warning you DO NOT bring any of your grandparents here, they’ll end up suffering. About 1 month ago, my grandmother had to stay there for a couple of days until my maid returns. When I went there to visit, with my family it already seems odd. The place itself too. I will list a couple of things WHY you should never put your grandparents here. All the helpers here never know what they’re doing. Rethinking about this makes my heart boil. I’m heartbroken to the fact that how my grandmother got treated during her stays her. First, there weren’t any ENTERTAINMENT at all in those rooms whereby old people stays. No TV no nothing. It’s the most loneliest place feelings you’d ever encounter. The food they give is extreme disgusting & heartless. That’s not even the worse part of it, my grandmother INJURED and FRACTURED her left hand. AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TOLD US ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING. I’m telling you this place is HELL. All the secrets, heartless people. THE HELPERS weren’t even Singaporean’s. Not just that, since my grandmother can’t walk, obviously you have to care for HUMANS hygiene, but guess what? THEY DIDN’T. They treat these grandparents like they WERENT HUMAN. Not helping to shower or even taking care of their pampers. I’m DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE. WE called them after knowing my grandmother fractured her bones, THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. PLEASE Banned this place & never ever step a foot into this place. If you have grandparents or ANYONE living there, TAKE THEM HOME IMMEDIEATELY. They will not dare to say a word unless we help to do so, what I witness is digesting. CLOSE THE PLACE.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Green Avenue Pte Ltd charge?

Nursing home fees in Singapore vary considerably depending on ward type (single, twin, or multi-bedded) and the resident's care dependency level. Subsidised nursing home rates for Singapore Citizens typically range from S$1,000 to S$2,600 per month after MOH means-tested subsidies, while private nursing home charges run higher. Costs to clarify with Green Avenue Pte Ltd include the monthly bed fee, nursing care levy, incontinence supplies, physiotherapy or speech therapy top-ups, and fees for specialist outpatient appointments. Public holiday surcharges and fees for additional services such as medical escort or specialised wound care are often billed separately. CareShield Life, ElderShield, and Integrated Shield Plan payouts can offset costs for eligible residents — confirm whether the facility is an approved LTCF provider for insurance claims. Live-in or visit-based — which does Green Avenue Pte Ltd offer?

Green Avenue Pte Ltd is listed under nursing homes, which is a full residential (live-in) care model. Residents move into the facility and receive round-the-clock nursing support, personal care, and daily meals, rather than receiving periodic home visits from a caregiver. Families should confirm the scope of care included in the monthly fee — specifically whether medical, nursing, therapy, and personal care are bundled or charged separately. Ask about the facility's trial or short-stay admission policy, which some nursing homes offer to allow the elder and family to assess fit before committing to long-term placement. Understand the discharge and family communication protocols from the outset.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Nursing homes in Singapore are regulated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and are required to employ registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and care staff who meet MOH training standards. Families should ask Green Avenue Pte Ltd to confirm its MOH licence status, the nurse-to-resident ratio by shift, and what specialist support (e.g. physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical officer visits) is available on-site or on referral. Note that no regulatory licences are currently recorded for Green Avenue Pte Ltd on this listing. Families are strongly advised to verify the facility's MOH nursing home licence directly with the Ministry of Health before proceeding. Ask also about workers' compensation and liability insurance covering both residents and staff in the event of an incident.
