My family and I have visited Dr Chu for more than 20 years. Even though waiting time is long and consultation cost is quite pricey, Dr Chu has always been a caring, attentive and detailed, and the medication he prescribes has always worked for me.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon around 1.45 pm and was the only patient. I was told that the consultation fee would be $40, which Is already quite expensive. After the consultation, i waited 30min despite being the only patient for my medication. I was then told that the consultation fee was $70 as it was past 12.30pm. If i had known a of this earlier i would not have even patronised this clinic. There was no information of the pricing of their services given at all. I had to ask to find out it was supposedly $40. It is just ridiculous that they are withholding such crucial information from the public and deceiving their patients. In addition to the pricing, the front desk staff was extremely rude. Before i left, another patient entered. She seemed visibly annoyed and said “actually we are closed, we close at 12.30pm”, which is contradictory to what she has told me earlier. She also kept making the “tsk” noises when talking to that customer.

would give zero stars if possible. before you read my review, do note that a simple search on dr chu siu kong on google, will lead you to an official MOH report of how he misused drugs in the past and had a disciplinary case was held against him a few years back at the exact same tampines outlet. -the seats are placed outside the clinic so be prepared to be under the hot sun with no shelter which makes it worse if youre already sick. -the staff at the counter was rude and made passive remarks when i refused buy the medicine after hearing that it comes to a total of $80 for a simple cough. (my friend spoke up for me and maybe because he is big sized, the staff didnt dare to fight back much) -after the staff finally changed the receipt and price of the consultation because i insisted on having NO meds, the consultation fee rised by $5. lol what? black clinic ah -the wait is like 1-2 hours and there is clearly some sort of favoritism or horrible queuing system? because the staff allowed people who took a number later than me to see the doctor first. it was only until my friend went up to the staff and questioned her, then she let me see the doctor instantly. -the doctor inside made very questionable remarks. such as commenting on my appearance. i will not go into details because it was certainly disgusting for a grown man with a family to be commenting on a female's appearance and growth. -personally, i think that dr chu gives out the number of days of MC based on his own gut feelings and not professionally as a doctor? i got a simple cough but because he was satisfied with how i seemed in appearance and impression, he gave me 3 days MC. i mean i wont complain since i didnt use up the 3 days MC and only used 1 day, but its very suspicious. all in all, if you want a long mc, js satisfy the doctor bcs he isnt professional in any way. also bring a larger sized friend to stand up for you at the counter because the staff is terrible. feel sorry for anyone who had to experience such a clinic because even yishun has better clinics 🙏🏻

Your staff Grace is very rude to other clinic staff. Patient from your clinic forgot to bring Referal letter. Our clinic requires the letter in order for patient to be seen. Grace told the staff to use their brain and let Dr see first. We wont know the diagnosis how to see? She said she's all alone so cannot expedite. Even the patient agreed Grace is rude. Maybe what you can do is to employ more staffs so she's not alone. So she can work better with less work load? Also maybe you should keep referal letter for 6 months so Dr don't need to retype ? Thanks.
