About Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8

Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8 is a general practice clinic located at 878C Tampines Avenue 8, #01-71 Tampines Greenforest, Singapore 523878. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 3/5 rating across 70 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention and is discussed in the trust panel below. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList at this time, and prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration independently before attending.

As a GP clinic, the typical patient journey begins with a walk-in or phone enquiry to confirm consultation hours and whether a doctor is available. GP consultations in Singapore are generally priced at S$25–60 at private clinics, with additional charges for investigations such as blood tests, swabs, or X-rays, as well as prescribed medications. Patients holding Integrated Shield Plans or CHAS cards should confirm whether the clinic participates in the relevant scheme before attending. For chronic conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders — MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year may apply at accredited CDMP providers. Patients should ask the clinic directly whether it is a CDMP-accredited practice.

Today marked my first visit to the clinic. The receptionists, Angel and Wong, were warm and welcoming, with bubbly personalities that made me feel at ease. Dr. Michco Bok, the doctor on duty, demonstrated both experience and a down-to-earth demeanor, offering reassuring advice and valuable insights about my condition. Overall, I had a positive experience and a great attitude from everyone I encountered. Thank you! ✨ 🥳

Pleasant experience with Dr.Jackie. She is sincere & though she may sounds rude as per some comments, I will have to put in a different perspective that in a moment of anxiety, she may have forgot that some patients may be use to hearing good things on soft tone. She was never rude or insulting during our multiple visits from our decade of residing in the area. The nurses are friendly as well. Overall, I have never had any bad experiences. I have in fact experienced sincerity, professionalism & even reminders call to check on well being when sick.

I wasn’t feeling well today and visited several clinics around Tampines West, but the queues were really long. Then I came across this clinic and only waited 10 minutes before seeing the doctor. The receptionist was very kind, and the male doctor was especially friendly and caring.

Staff not so friendly when asking questions during registration, questions usually asked by doctor. All info keyed in the computer, so doctor already knows symptoms. Was told to monitor own self for temperature etc. Even when the patient took temperature, does the staff need take again to verify or just take the word of the patient?

Extremely disappointed with the experience. From the moment we entered the consultation room, Dr Sharon appeared visibly unhappy and unwelcoming. I greeted her but received no response in return. Throughout the consultation, she was sarcastic, dismissive, and showed no sympathy or warmth—especially concerning since this was a visit for my 2-year-old child. Instead of showing care, the doctor questioned why we didn’t return to the previous clinic, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. When I mentioned the initial clinic is a bit far for a simple review, she sarcastically said is the clinic at Jurong. The most concerning part was how rough the doctor was with my child. Without any attempt to calm or reassure, the doctor forcefully inserted a wooden stick into my child’s mouth, causing distress. This experience was not only uncomfortable but also upsetting. I expect far better care and empathy, especially when it comes to treating young children. My husband has very bad experience with her as well. We will not be coming back to this clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8 charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits generally at the lower end. On top of the consultation fee, expect separate charges for investigations (blood panel S$60–200, swabs, urine tests), prescribed medications, and any procedures such as wound dressing or minor surgery. Any planned procedure should be accompanied by a written financial estimate before treatment. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8 MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList for this listing. Patients are strongly encouraged to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before attending. Neither the clinic's physical presence nor KakiList verification is a substitute for these checks. Listing data is incomplete — contact Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8 directly to confirm details.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Greenforest Family Clinic Tampines Ave 8?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays rather than routine GP visits — confirm your plan's outpatient benefits before expecting a claim to be accepted at a GP clinic. MediSave outpatient withdrawal is available under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, subject to a S$700/year withdrawal limit at accredited CDMP providers. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session and ask for a written estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Confirm whether the clinic participates in CHAS or the Community Health Assist Scheme, which offers subsidised rates to eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs at participating GP panels. Skipping pre-authorisation or scheme-eligibility checks is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
