About Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bedok)
Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bedok) is a dental practice based at Blk 185 Toa Payoh Central, serving patients across Singapore. Patients typically begin by contacting the clinic via phone or the online enquiry form to describe their presenting concern — whether a routine check-up and scale-and-polish, a toothache, tooth sensitivity, or a cosmetic concern such as whitening or alignment. At the first consultation, the dentist will conduct an oral examination and may take X-rays to assess the full picture before recommending a treatment plan. It is worth asking about fees for each proposed procedure, payment options, and whether the clinic accepts CHAS, MediSave for eligible procedures, or corporate dental benefit plans, as these can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs.
To make an appointment, contact Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bedok) by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, and bring along any relevant dental records or insurance details.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Have been consulting Dr Melody Fam for many years. She would always keep me updated on my teeth’s condition, what I did well and what can be improved on my part as caring for my teeth is my responsibility. Dr Melody is a nice to talk to, gentle during dental procedures, will often ask if I’m okay during cleaning/scaling.
I just had an extraction done at Greenlife Dental Clinic - Toa Payoh. Dr Au Yong and Dr Lim were both very patient and caring doctors. 🙏🏻I would also like to thank Ms Bradel for sitting down keeping me accompany when I was waiting for Dr Au Yong’s arrival. Ms Bradel was trying to calm me down as I was in a lot of pain. 🥹. She even had to take a late lunch because of that. The receptionist and clinic assistant were also very gentle and caring who kept assuring me that I would be alright. 🥰 Kudos to everyone at the clinic! 👍🏻
Delightful as always. Front desks on both levels are always pleasant. After previous dentist opened her own practice, have been following Dr. Delwyn. He's very gentle, attentive and detailed. I bring my parents here as well, my dad follows Dr. Delwyn as well and my mom loves Dr Melody. And I do mean LOVE. My mom is always nervous and anxious when it comes to dental appointments but always relaxes when she gets comforted by Dr. Melody's warm demeanor, gentleness and her extra care. 2 thumbs up for the 2 doctors and the Toa Payoh team. 😍😍🥳🥳👍🏼👍🏼

She explained to me clearly my dental condition and the procedures. The entire experience from my first step into the clinic till the end of my dental procedures were very smooth and fuss-free. Will highly recommend her to anyone interested.

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation typically runs S$20–60 at a CHAS-participating clinic and S$50–120 at a private clinic not on the CHAS panel. Scale-and-polish sessions are generally S$80–150, composite fillings S$80–250 per tooth, a basic extraction S$80–200, and a root canal S$600–1,500 depending on the tooth. Cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening run S$300–800 and are not subsidised. Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bedok) has not published a price list on this listing, so it is advisable to request a written treatment plan with itemised fees before any procedure begins. Ask specifically whether the clinic accepts CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) for Singapore Citizens and PRs who qualify, and whether MediSave can be used for eligible surgical procedures such as wisdom-tooth removal. For most dental concerns — check-ups, fillings, cleanings, and extractions — no referral is needed; you can book directly. The first visit usually involves a clinical examination and, where indicated, periapical or bitewing X-rays to give the dentist a clear picture of tooth and bone health before recommending treatment. If you have a complex medical history (blood thinners, bisphosphonates, uncontrolled diabetes, or a compromised immune system), inform the clinic when booking so the dentist can prepare appropriately. For specialist procedures such as orthodontics, implants, or oral surgery, a general dentist will typically assess and refer to a specialist at the National Dental Centre or a private oral surgeon if the case falls outside their scope. Patients with dental anxiety are encouraged to mention this at the time of booking, as many clinics can adjust the pace of treatment or discuss sedation options.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Registration can be verified on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg — search by the practitioner's name to confirm their licence status and any conditions on practice. The dental clinic premises must also hold a valid licence from the Ministry of Health (MOH) under the Healthcare Services Act. This is separate from the individual dentist's SDC registration. If the clinic has not published the names of its registered dentists, it is reasonable to ask before your first appointment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the SDC public register before treatment.
