From there, a treatment plan is outlined with associated costs before any procedure proceeds. It is advisable to enquire about the clinic's accepted payment methods, whether Medisave can be used for eligible procedures (such as surgical extractions), and whether CHAS or CHAS Blue/Orange subsidies apply if you hold a relevant card. Cancellation and rescheduling policies are worth confirming at the time of booking.
To make an appointment, contact Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bukit Batok) directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, and confirm appointment availability and consultation fees before your visit.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Have been consulting Dr Melody Fam for many years. She would always keep me updated on my teeth’s condition, what I did well and what can be improved on my part as caring for my teeth is my responsibility. Dr Melody is a nice to talk to, gentle during dental procedures, will often ask if I’m okay during cleaning/scaling.
I just had an extraction done at Greenlife Dental Clinic - Toa Payoh. Dr Au Yong and Dr Lim were both very patient and caring doctors. 🙏🏻I would also like to thank Ms Bradel for sitting down keeping me accompany when I was waiting for Dr Au Yong’s arrival. Ms Bradel was trying to calm me down as I was in a lot of pain. 🥹. She even had to take a late lunch because of that. The receptionist and clinic assistant were also very gentle and caring who kept assuring me that I would be alright. 🥰 Kudos to everyone at the clinic! 👍🏻
Delightful as always. Front desks on both levels are always pleasant. After previous dentist opened her own practice, have been following Dr. Delwyn. He's very gentle, attentive and detailed. I bring my parents here as well, my dad follows Dr. Delwyn as well and my mom loves Dr Melody. And I do mean LOVE. My mom is always nervous and anxious when it comes to dental appointments but always relaxes when she gets comforted by Dr. Melody's warm demeanor, gentleness and her extra care. 2 thumbs up for the 2 doctors and the Toa Payoh team. 😍😍🥳🥳👍🏼👍🏼

Will highly recommend her to anyone interested.

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80, scaling and polishing S$60–150, a basic filling S$80–200 depending on material (composite vs amalgam), a single tooth extraction S$80–300, and surgical extraction S$300–800 or more. Crowns and implants sit at S$1,000–3,500+ per unit. GST applies to dental procedures. Medisave can be used for approved surgical procedures such as wisdom tooth surgery (up to S$950 per tooth). CHAS cardholders may be eligible for subsidised dental services if the clinic participates in the Community Health Assist Scheme — confirm this directly before your appointment. It is worth asking for a written treatment plan and fee estimate before any procedure begins. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
A referral is not required for a general dental consultation — you can book directly by phone or via the enquiry form. At your first visit, the dentist will conduct a clinical examination, may take X-rays if clinically indicated, and discuss findings before recommending any treatment. An intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and any known allergies is standard. If you have a complex medical condition — such as a bleeding disorder, are on blood thinners, or are undergoing cancer treatment — it is worth informing the clinic in advance so appropriate precautions can be arranged. For specialist procedures (orthodontics, implants, or oral surgery), a general dentist may refer you to a specialist practice or a public dental centre if the case warrants it.
Dental clinics and the dentists practising in them are regulated by the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Individual dentists must hold a valid practising certificate issued by the SDC — verifiable on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg. Dental clinics operating as a business are also subject to MOH licensing requirements under the Healthcare Services Act. Greenlife Dental Clinic (Bukit Batok) does not have confirmed ACRA registration in the current listing data, and no regulatory licences have been listed. Before your appointment, it is advisable to confirm the consulting dentist's name and verify their SDC registration on the public register. The clinic holds a 4.8/5 rating across 304 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and a positive patient-experience signal, but licence verification remains a separate and important step. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the Singapore Dental Council's public register before treatment.
