Patients typically begin by calling or submitting an enquiry form to book a first consultation, during which the dentist assesses current dental health, discusses any presenting concerns — such as pain, sensitivity, cosmetic goals, or routine scaling and polishing — and outlines a treatment plan with associated costs. It is worth confirming at the point of booking whether the clinic accepts your dental insurance or corporate benefits plan, and whether appointments for specific treatments such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, or orthodontic assessment require a separate dedicated slot. Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary by clinic, so ask when you book.
To arrange an appointment, contact Greenlife Dental Clinic (Toa Payoh) directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing. Bringing any existing dental records or X-rays to your first visit can help the dentist assess your history more efficiently.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the Singapore Dental Council's public register before treatment.
Have been consulting Dr Melody Fam for many years. She would always keep me updated on my teeth’s condition, what I did well and what can be improved on my part as caring for my teeth is my responsibility. Dr Melody is a nice to talk to, gentle during dental procedures, will often ask if I’m okay during cleaning/scaling.
I just had an extraction done at Greenlife Dental Clinic - Toa Payoh. Dr Au Yong and Dr Lim were both very patient and caring doctors. 🙏🏻I would also like to thank Ms Bradel for sitting down keeping me accompany when I was waiting for Dr Au Yong’s arrival. Ms Bradel was trying to calm me down as I was in a lot of pain. 🥹. She even had to take a late lunch because of that. The receptionist and clinic assistant were also very gentle and caring who kept assuring me that I would be alright. 🥰 Kudos to everyone at the clinic! 👍🏻
Delightful as always. Front desks on both levels are always pleasant. After previous dentist opened her own practice, have been following Dr. Delwyn. He's very gentle, attentive and detailed. I bring my parents here as well, my dad follows Dr. Delwyn as well and my mom loves Dr Melody. And I do mean LOVE. My mom is always nervous and anxious when it comes to dental appointments but always relaxes when she gets comforted by Dr. Melody's warm demeanor, gentleness and her extra care. 2 thumbs up for the 2 doctors and the Toa Payoh team. 😍😍🥳🥳👍🏼👍🏼

She explained to me clearly my dental condition and the procedures. The entire experience from my first step into the clinic till the end of my dental procedures were very smooth and fuss-free. Will highly recommend her to anyone interested.

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by treatment type. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80, while scaling and polishing sits around S$80–150. Fillings range from S$80–250 depending on the material and tooth complexity, and extractions S$80–400 or more for surgical cases. Most dental clinics in Singapore, including general practices, accept direct bookings without a GP referral for routine care such as check-ups, cleaning, fillings, and extractions. A referral may be helpful if you are making an insurance claim that requires a pre-authorisation letter, or if your condition involves complex oral surgery or specialist care (for example, periodontology or oral maxillofacial surgery), in which case a referral to a specialist clinic or a public hospital dental department may be more appropriate. For a first visit, expect an intake discussion covering your medical history, current medications, and allergies — certain medications and conditions affect dental treatment choices. Bring a list of any medications you are on, and inform the clinic if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or are on blood thinners before your appointment.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which operates under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg. Dental clinics must also hold a valid clinic licence issued by MOH. Specialist dentists — such as orthodontists, endodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons — hold an additional specialist registration on the SDC Specialist Register. When booking, you may ask the clinic for the name of the consulting dentist and confirm their SDC registration number if you wish to verify independently. Note that no regulatory licences have been provided in this listing — confirm directly with the clinic and verify on the SDC register before proceeding with treatment.
