About GreenLink Medical Clinic

About GreenLink Medical Clinic

GreenLink Medical Clinic is a general practice clinic located at 807 Yishun Ring Rd, #01-4213, serving residents in Yishun and the surrounding north Singapore area. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The Google rating stands at 3.8 out of 5 across 58 reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal, though individual experiences will vary. No regulatory licences are listed in the clinic's public profile, and the clinic is not ACRA-registered on record here; prospective patients are encouraged to confirm MOH Healthcare Services Licence status and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration directly.

For a GP visit, patients can typically walk in or call ahead to check waiting times. A standard consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, prescriptions, and referral letters where a specialist opinion is warranted. If you hold a polyclinic or GP referral letter, it can reduce costs at public hospital specialist outpatient clinics to the subsidised rate of roughly S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, though non-urgent waits at public SOCs typically run four to twelve weeks. Common Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) conditions — including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and selected mental health conditions — may be eligible for MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal at participating CDMP-accredited clinics; confirm this with the clinic directly. Integrated Shield Plan coverage and MediSave use depend on your insurer's panel and the nature of the visit.

To make an appointment or enquire about waiting times, contact GreenLink Medical Clinic by phone or via the enquiry form listed on this page.

Nice polite doctor but one rude receptionist. This is not the first encounter I had with this particular receptionist. I don’t understand why there is a need to show attitude to the people wanting to see a doctor. The other receptionist is polite though. The only reason I decided on this clinic was because it was in fwd panel clinic list (thought it was cashless claim). However, I clarified with the doctor that the clinic is not on any insurance panel list. So do take note of this!

Once you get to know the clinic assistants, you will discover that they are the sweetest and most caring bunch of ladies. They may have been misunderstood by those who only had brief encounters with them. Like what the earlier review mentioned, there is a kampong spirit at this clinic which is so very unique and heartwarming. Dr Gideon is also a wonderful doctor. He takes the time to examine, diagnose and educate, putting the patient at the heart of his service. He also comes into the clinic when the doors open, a sign of his professionalism and commitment to his patients. Thank you Dr Hong and staff.

Dr. Gideon became my family doctor and I have been with him for years. His staff and himself have been consistently professional/consultative/helpful each time. His clinic is always kept clean and sanitized. The two or three staff are multi-lingual speaking good dialects too. There are some night consultation hours as well on certain days. Best to give a call to them each time before visiting to ensure that the opening hours are right. They are very polite and helpful.

Dr Gideon is very precise and accurate with diagnosis. As a resident at this neighborhood our family members has been going to him for medical care for many years. Dr is always spot on with his judgement. Always our first choice whenever we're in need of Dr's advice.

Have been visiting this doctor for more than 10 years and his diagnosis is always accurate. He is a very professional and responsible doctor. The receptionists are down to earth and have the very unique kampung spirits that we can hardly find nowadays.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does GreenLink Medical Clinic charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, covering the consultation itself. Common add-ons billed separately include medications and prescriptions, diagnostic tests such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, swabs, and X-rays (S$80–150). GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or procedures, request a written breakdown of investigation costs before proceeding so you know the out-of-pocket portion upfront. If you are a Singapore Citizen or PR eligible for Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) benefits, confirm whether GreenLink Medical Clinic is a CHAS-accredited GP, as CHAS subsidies can meaningfully reduce consultation and medication costs for eligible patients. Is GreenLink Medical Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details are listed in GreenLink Medical Clinic's current profile on KakiList. Both are mandatory for a legitimate clinic — the MOH Healthcare Services Licence covers the clinic premises under the Healthcare Services Act, and every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Before attending, contact the clinic directly to confirm the consulting doctor's name and SMC registration number. You can then cross-check on the SMC register independently. The MOH licensee directory is searchable at moh.gov.sg. Neither check takes more than a few minutes and both are worth doing, particularly if the clinic is new to you.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at GreenLink Medical Clinic?

MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient consultations and S$700 per year for Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, provided the clinic is CDMP-accredited. Confirm CDMP accreditation directly with GreenLink Medical Clinic before assuming MediSave applies. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, outpatient GP visits at a private clinic are generally not covered unless your IP includes a rider with outpatient or day-surgery benefits. Check your IP schedule of benefits and whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel before attending if you intend to claim. For any planned procedure or investigation at a specialist level following a referral, request pre-authorisation from your insurer and a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
