The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.4-star rating across 267 Google reviews — a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to the score. When enquiring about a holiday camp, start by confirming which school holiday intake is available, the age range your child falls into, and whether the programme suits their climbing experience — beginner, intermediate, or more advanced. Ground Up Climbing runs programmes from a fixed venue at Level 2, CSC@Tessensohn, so check that the location is convenient before committing. Clarify whether the camp runs in small groups or larger cohorts, what equipment is provided, what the coach-to-participant ratio is, and whether any prior climbing experience is required. Ask about the daily schedule, what participants should wear, and whether food and water are catered or self-supplied. Some camps involve a trial or taster element — worth clarifying if your child is new to the sport.
To take the next step, use the enquiry form on the listing to ask about upcoming holiday camp dates, age-group fit, and pricing before registering.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Thank you Quick & Team for making our birthday party fun and relaxed! Quick was accommodating & exceptionally helpful. Took initiative to bond with the kids and help with setup without being asked! Grateful for the pleasant experience! Highly recommend having your bday party here! The kids were game for climbing and had no complaints! There’s a simple dining area for light refreshments, clean toilet and water cooler!
Friendly and helpful crew. Total beginner on climbing. They had a good mix of levels and wasn’t too busy when we went on a Friday afternoon.
We celebrated our daughter's birthday here, and the team was incredibly organized and helpful, especially with 15 kids to manage. The kids had a blast! All safety instructions were clearly explained at the start of the session. My daughter loved it so much that we've started climbing on weekends!
Mix of top rope and bouldering. Their bouldering grades are a bit more difficult than what I'm used to in Japan / San Francisco. The mats are a bit hard 🥶
I wanted to try out this gym with my family. I don't know why the staff insist I need to create an account and upload a photo of my face. When I asked the staff about deleting my photo and account after the climb, they had no answer and just didn't know how. I just left since they won't let us climb unless they have a photo of my face in their crappy IT system which they aren't even capable of using. I do not recommend this place.

Ground Up Climbing indicates mid-range ($$) pricing, but exact camp fees are not publicly listed. Holiday camp costs in Singapore typically vary by duration (half-day, full-day, or multi-day), group size, and any equipment hire included. When enquiring, ask for the full cost breakdown: the camp fee itself, any registration or administrative charge, materials or equipment costs, and whether there is a sibling or early-bird discount. Some providers charge a one-off registration fee separate from the camp rate, and deposit requirements vary. Confirm whether the fee is per day or for the full camp block, and ask about the refund or deferral policy in case of absence or illness. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →
It is worth asking Ground Up Climbing whether a taster or trial session is available before enrolling in a full camp block — some climbing programmes offer a single introductory session so children can experience the environment and assess whether the activity suits them. When evaluating fit, consider how your child engages with physical challenge and whether the group level matches their current ability. Observe whether the coaching style keeps participants motivated and whether the group size allows for individual attention. If a formal trial is not offered, attending an open day or speaking to the coaches directly before committing can help you gauge the right level and format.
Climbing instruction credentials in Singapore commonly include certifications from the Singapore Mountaineering Federation (SMF) or internationally recognised bodies such as the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) or UIAA-affiliated programmes. These qualifications indicate that a coach has been assessed on technical skills, safety management, and teaching methodology. Ground Up Climbing's specific coach credentials are not listed publicly. Before committing to a camp, it is reasonable to ask which certifications the coaches hold, how many coaches are assigned per group, and what safety protocols are in place at the climbing facility. This is especially relevant for younger or first-time participants.
