Thank you Quick & Team for making our birthday party fun and relaxed! Quick was accommodating & exceptionally helpful. Took initiative to bond with the kids and help with setup without being asked! Grateful for the pleasant experience! Highly recommend having your bday party here! The kids were game for climbing and had no complaints! There’s a simple dining area for light refreshments, clean toilet and water cooler!
Friendly and helpful crew. Total beginner on climbing. They had a good mix of levels and wasn’t too busy when we went on a Friday afternoon.
We celebrated our daughter's birthday here, and the team was incredibly organized and helpful, especially with 15 kids to manage. The kids had a blast! All safety instructions were clearly explained at the start of the session. My daughter loved it so much that we've started climbing on weekends!
Mix of top rope and bouldering. Their bouldering grades are a bit more difficult than what I'm used to in Japan / San Francisco. The mats are a bit hard 🥶
I wanted to try out this gym with my family. I don't know why the staff insist I need to create an account and upload a photo of my face. When I asked the staff about deleting my photo and account after the climb, they had no answer and just didn't know how. I just left since they won't let us climb unless they have a photo of my face in their crappy IT system which they aren't even capable of using. I do not recommend this place.

Ground Up Climbing is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for Singapore sport and swimming schools, though specific per-session figures are not published on this listing. Fees in this category typically vary depending on whether you enrol in group classes or one-to-one coaching, and whether you pay per session, on a monthly basis, or by term. Common extras to ask about include registration fees, any required equipment or materials, and whether a separate fee applies for an initial trial class. Sibling discounts or package rates are worth confirming directly. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sport and climbing schools in Singapore offer a trial class at a reduced fee or as part of the enrolment process, and it is reasonable to ask Ground Up Climbing whether this is available before purchasing a term package. A trial session allows you to assess whether the class level is appropriate for your child's current ability, observe the coaching style, and gauge how engaged your child is in the environment. It also gives you a sense of class size and the instructor's approach to progression and safety. If a trial is not offered as standard, ask whether you can observe a session before committing to a full term.
Specific instructor qualifications are not listed in the available provider data. For a climbing school, relevant credentials may include certifications from recognised bodies such as the SNCS (Singapore National Climbing Standards), NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme), or international equivalents. Years of coaching experience and any competitive or elite climbing background are also useful indicators. It is advisable to ask Ground Up Climbing directly about the qualifications of the coaches who will be working with your child, particularly for younger or beginner participants where safety instruction is foundational. If credentials are not readily available on their website or promotional materials, request this information before signing up.
