About Gush Paints

Singapore startup making air-purifying, odourless wall paint. Sustainable, non-toxic.

Most enquiries to Gush Paints involve Painting Services. The operator works directly with homeowners, which means you deal with the same contact through quote, scheduling, and job completion rather than being handed off.

They're ACRA-registered under 202036327G and have been verified by KakiList, which adds a layer of accountability beyond anonymous review aggregators. Google reviewers currently give Gush Paints a strong average of 4.6/5 across 111 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a home services provider.

Bought a old resale flat almost 3yrs ago and couldn't stand the peeling walls anymore. Decided on Gush based on their good reviews and superior paint. I added on the plastering service. Although the prices were abit higher than the usual brands. It was really worth it. From the sales person, June, to the project lead, to the workers. Everyone were friendly, efficient and professional. Especially San Win the painting supervisor, whom we saw every end of the painting days going around touching up. They are always checking with me if Im satisfied of the everything.

Started seeing problems with my ceilings - mould and flaking/peeling in 1 toilet. Engaged Gush to apply anti-mould treatment and paint 3 rooms' ceilings, 2 rooms' walls, 1 toilet ceiling. Gush is one of the costlier paint providers but I went ahead to entrust them based on generally positive reviews and the colours look nice. About 1.5 years later, my toilet ceiling started to flake again. The paint isn't sticking to the ceiling. Went through a few rounds of discussions with Gush and its vendor (i.e., painting company) Groundworks. Outcome is: - Gush claims the issue is with my toilet ceiling, not with their paint. To be fair, the other painted surfaces have no flaking issue. So far. - Groundworks claims that they had offered two options during the pre-painting consultation: plaster whole ceiling and paint or selectively putty flaking spots and paint. Apparently I had chosen the latter, which is less effective and less long-lasting. Honestly, I can't recall if this discussion did take place, but most importantly I can't prove that it didn't. I understand where they are coming from and they were professional throughout our discussions but the fact remains that I had paid Gush and Groundworks to fix my toilet ceiling and this fix lasted just ~1.5 years. And now I'll need to spend more money and time to find another solution. Gush had offered to let Groundworks plaster and paint again but once bitten twice shy. My biggest takeaway is to always document discussions. If you are reading this and considering paint suppliers and vendors, do take note too. Response: Thank you for the reply. It is helpful and I'm clear on what needs to be done now. I know this will be pushed to the vendor, but I just wish all this clarification was done before I had wasted hundreds of dollars on getting my toilet ceiling painted.

Gush was incredible! From the selection of paints, funny names of paints, customer service by Lydia and team to help us make our dream home a reality! 🎨 we chose blindfolds off, and sage wand green color for our baby’s room. Highly recommended! Would make this a first choice for all new and existing home owners!

Did the painting myself, Jade and Kenneth help on giving good advices. Very low odour, the finished job is awesome, but wear a mask if you're doing the painting yourself, thank me later 😁

I was looking for ways to remove smell from a wall gone bad due to use of expired paint. The rancid smell, which comes from the common bedroom, permeated to the living room and even up to the main door. 😐 I tried most of the DIY methods like wiping the wall with diluted bleach, bowls of vinegar. Nothing works so far, and the only thing I haven't try is getting a tin of odor-sealer and paint the wall over myself. I couldn't find one in SG, but in the US, there were folks buying it in retail. Anyway, I wasted two weeks of time and was anxious to get this rectified because I'll be moving in soon. Better to get someone professional to do it than DIY. I didn't want to make things worse. I found Gush via their Google ad on second week of Nov. Lydia (the consultant) & I had clear communication and the entire experience was smooth & pleasant. The painters did a thorough job...they covered every corner (even the ceiling and the tough window areas because I've the wire window guard). The paint color was evenly done. I also saw they used a sealer, which Lydia shared she requested a oil-based one that is stronger. Gush paint smell is not that strong, so far I can tahan it with N95 mask in the living room while they paint. Now even when it's done, I find the paint smell is still ok and I foresee it'd dissipate by the then I move in. Glad I found Gush. Maybe some might hesitate due to their rates which I read some commented it's on a slightly high side but I don't know. I didn't compare 😆 At least to me, it's reasonable and fair for the high quality of service and details I'm paying for. I've engaged a previous painter before...I'll just say Gush, stood out to be a reliable service that will leave a great impression. You pay for what you get. Do contact them at least 1 month in advance. I tried to get a date in Nov when we corresponded on 10 Nov but they were fully booked. So so happy I can breathe in rancid-free air now! Thank you!!! 🥰
