We tried out the Chinese camp over the 2025 Summer and was quite disappointed with the classes. My child enjoyed the classes because they spent a lot of time just watching videos. There were not much opportunities to practice speaking Chinese. It was basically just watching videos, doing some craft activities and writing some Chinese characters on some handouts. When I tried using the Chinese characters (that were written in the assignments) with my child, my child was still asking me what that word means, so it seems that they were just told to write out the words without much explanation and usage of the words learnt. We probably won’t do the camp again as it’s not worth the price.
