Families considering Hanis Chinese would typically start by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — particularly whether the programme aligns with the MOE Chinese Language curriculum for the relevant primary or secondary level. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in a group or one-to-one format, what the class size is, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Confirm whether sessions are held on-site at the Raffles Blvd location or available online, and clarify the term commitment and cancellation policy upfront.
To take the next step, contact Hanis Chinese by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability, the appropriate level for your child, and whether a trial class can be arranged before any term payment is made.

This is one of our favourite restaurants for local delights. The herbal chicken is cooked until soft and flavourful. The pork belly is also quite soft. I like the 'pickled black vegetable' well blended with the pork slices. It might come across as slightly salty for some, so mix it with your rice and enjoy. #foodreviews #localfood #porkbelly #herbalchicken
Like the Hainanese Pork Chop rice as usual. However disappointed with the service. The boy who was supposed to take order was chatting with the earlier customer and when serving me was almost using only hand gesture. Really tarnished the image of Hans.
Han's has been offering comfort food for locals for years. Always can rely on them for delicious western and local food. Their hainanese pork chop, hor fun, fried rice, stewed chicken are all favourites of mine. Coming here for breakfast at 10am, I am glad they are already offering full menu. Love their breakfast platter.
One of the more consistent Hans which churns out good food. Came here for a quick meal. Staff was there to check my vaccination status and check in and I was able to get a seat quickly in the clean premises. Ordered the off menu item beehoon soup, and fish and chips, stewed pork belly and the turkey bacon sandwich. Food was ready pretty quickly. Staff was very obliging when I asked for a takeaway bag for the sandwich which we couldn’t finish. Food quality was as usually good and children loved the fish and chips and the soup too. The fish batter was very light and fried to perfection. I would like this more compared to the other big boys selling fish and chips in the other eateries. As a long time customer, I would always turn to Hans for their comforting bee hoon soup and menu offerings.
One of the few eateries that offer Christmas food every year, and each time I get their Christmas grill. Nothing to shout about: turkey, ham, grilled vegetables, sausages. Food needed a bit more salt. Don't bother getting the dry Speculoos log cake.

Hanis Chinese has not publicly listed its per-session or monthly fees. In Singapore, Chinese language enrichment classes typically range from S$30–80 per session for group classes and S$80–150 per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the tutor's experience and the student's level. Monthly package rates are often available at a slight discount compared to paying per session. Ask about trial class fees, whether there are materials charges, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. Confirm the full payment structure — including any registration or administrative fees — before committing to a term. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or free of charge, before a term commitment is required. A trial is a practical way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the pace and level are appropriate, and whether the class environment encourages engagement. When attending, observe how the teacher explains concepts, how your child responds, and whether the class content aligns with the MOE Chinese Language syllabus or your specific learning goals. Ask Hanis Chinese directly whether a trial class is available and what, if anything, it costs.
Credential details for the tutors at Hanis Chinese are not publicly listed. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, or Education, and whether any have a background with MOE or NIE training. For primary and secondary students, alignment with the current MOE Chinese Language syllabus — including the revised oral and written components — is an important consideration. If your child is preparing for PSLE, O-Level, or a specific school-based examination, confirm that the tutor is familiar with the relevant marking criteria and examination format. Ask these questions directly before committing to a term.
