About Happy Fish Swim School

About "Happy Fish Swim School"

Happy Fish Swim School is a swimming school operating islandwide across Singapore, listed under the Sport and Swimming Schools subcategory on KakiList. The school is both KakiList verified and ACRA registered, offering a baseline of operational credibility. Parents and adult learners enquiring about classes should first confirm level and syllabus fit — whether the programme covers beginner water confidence, stroke refinement, competitive preparation, or adult beginner instruction. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted in groups or on a one-to-one basis, as both formats carry different pacing and cost implications. Clarify term commitment and whether a trial session is available before signing up for a full term. The school has a registered address at 85B Lor 4 Toa Payoh, and prospective students should confirm whether classes are held at that location or at other islandwide pool venues, as swim schools commonly operate across multiple public and private facilities.

The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class availability for the relevant age group or ability level, confirm the venue nearest to you, and request details on trial session options before committing to a term.

We had a really positive experience at Happy Fish for my 16-month-old’s infant trial class with Teacher Wen Qing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and took the time to show us around the space. The facilities are clean and very thoughtfully designed for both parents and little ones — ample shower cubicles for adults and older children, dedicated changing and washing areas for babies, and cabinets conveniently placed right next to the changing area. There are also seats and a waiting area with books, which is a really nice touch for parents and little ones. I especially loved the cute wall decals and the adorable frog and hippo shower heads, plus the easy shower standing support for toddlers. You can really tell they’ve put a lot of thought into the small details, which I truly appreciate. Teacher Wen Qing was patient, clear with her instructions, and very attentive to my baby’s comfort level. She never forced any exercise or conditioning during the trial. When my baby didn’t feel like doing a certain activity, she creatively used toys and storylines on the other side of the pool to gently encourage him to paddle across instead which worked so well. Overall, it was a lovely and reassuring first swim experience for my baby and we left feeling very positive about Happy Fish! 😌

We joined the weekend infant swimming class, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The class size is small and the coach is very patient and attentive. My son cried a lot at the beginning, but the teacher explained everything clearly and helped him gradually get comfortable in the water. The lessons are well designed by age group and very suitable for young kids. Highly recommended for parents looking for a safe and caring swimming school!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic baby swim class! We’ve had such a positive experience with Happy Fish and their toddler swimming program. Our little one started out very shy and nervous around water, but within a few lessons we could already see a huge boost in confidence. The coach is patient, gentle, and really know how to engage young kids through songs, games, and lots of encouragement. They never force the children, but still manage to challenge them just enough so they keep improving every week. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, and I really appreciate how seriously they take safety and hygiene. Each child gets individual attention and feedback. Our toddler now looks forward to swim class every week and happily shows off new skills at bath time. Highly recommend happy Fish to any parent looking for a fun, safe, and professional swim class for their little one! 💧👶🏻

Coach Sebastian has been wonderful - patient, encouraging, and great with the kids. We have seen clear progress and always felt comfortable during lessons. If not for scheduling reasons, we would definitely continue at this outlet.

It was a great experience at Happy Fish Toa Payoh with our 2-year-old girl! The instructors are patient, friendly, and wonderful with toddlers. She’s become so much more confident in the water and always looks forward to her lessons. The warm, clean pool and fun, engaging activities make every session enjoyable. Highly recommend for little ones!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Happy Fish Swim School" charge per session?

Happy Fish Swim School displays mid-range pricing, though specific per-session rates are not published on their KakiList listing. For swimming schools in Singapore, group classes typically run between S$30 and S$60 per session depending on pool venue, class size, and the swimmer's level. One-to-one coaching commands a higher rate, often S$80–S$150 per session. When enquiring, ask whether fees are charged per session, as a monthly package, or as a term block. Confirm whether a trial class is available and whether it is priced separately. Check for any additional costs such as swim cap or float equipment, as well as any registration or administrative fees. Sibling discounts and multi-term packages are sometimes offered. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial session before a term commitment is required, though policies vary. A trial class gives you the opportunity to assess the instructor's communication style, the student-to-teacher ratio in the pool, and whether the level and pace are appropriate for the learner. When attending a trial, observe whether the instructor provides individual feedback, whether safety supervision is adequate, and whether the swimmer appears engaged and comfortable in the water. For younger children in particular, the settling dynamic in an aquatic environment can differ significantly from a classroom setting. Contact Happy Fish Swim School directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask whether a trial session is available, the cost if applicable, and what to bring.

What are the instructors' credentials at "Happy Fish Swim School"?

Credential details for the instructors at Happy Fish Swim School are not published on the KakiList listing. For swimming instruction in Singapore, relevant qualifications to look out for include certifications from the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA), Singapore Sports Council-accredited coaching certificates, or internationally recognised awards such as those from the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) or the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA). For children's classes, it is also reasonable to ask whether instructors hold a valid first aid certificate and are familiar with water safety and rescue protocols. Experience with a specific age group or ability band — such as toddlers, school-age children, or adult beginners — is worth confirming. We recommend asking Happy Fish Swim School directly about instructor qualifications and years of teaching experience before committing to a term.
