The urgent hotline doctors on standby for consultation help were really good. I am very grateful to all their imparted knowledge and respect to me as a caregiver for 12+months. The rest of the services - head of dept, home nurses/social workers are very challenging (i would even say terrible ordeal). Alot of evidences and incidents (bypassing family protocol etc etc and very limited n lack understanding of integrated care and PARTNERSHIP; i am the caregiver in record. Felt unhelped or causing alot of time loss despite higheffort in making things straightfwd for them, almost to the level of i am serving them. Even initial onboarding was so delayed and throughout this journey, i don feel the value of help; its often me ironing out things myself for my dad and other OPERATIONS runs in homecare. Even SGH hospital nurses gave me so much value/help regarding caregiving and dad; and i imparted that back for hca) but too sensitive to write them here. Maybe because they r too used to sick patients ultimatsly dying anyway; even if u commit as a full time caregiver; u probably have to reach out other partners for better support as a go to advice. I did value the hotline standby doctors. Their frontline customer service and day time helpline and experiences are downright lacking in support, only concerned about their own convenience/ tactical in nature and they don't even understand it nor want to know what they r blindsided to in a reasonably acceptable basic follow through customer service. In a summsry, frustrating and time loss. U better help urself w what u can gained fr other avenues first before coming to them. You can reach me if u need to know more.
