KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a 2.5/5 rating across 83 Google reviews — a moderately sized sample that warrants careful reading of the individual reviews before attending. For a first visit to a GP clinic, the typical flow involves a walk-in or phone enquiry to check waiting times, then a consultation covering your presenting complaint, a clinical examination, and where appropriate a prescription, referral letter, or medical certificate. If you are managing a chronic condition such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, ask whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for listed conditions. For planned specialist referrals, a GP referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic reduces the consultation fee substantially for Singapore Citizens compared with self-referred private specialist visits.

To make an appointment or check current waiting times, contact the clinic directly by phone on the number listed on this page.

It was my first visit to this clinic, and I'm truly grateful I met Dr Ting Ming Yih. I noticed some reviews mentioned waiting time, but I personally want to share about the care I received. Dr Ting was very thorough and took time to check properly. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my condition and the medication given. I never felt rushed during the consultation. He is friendly and has such a fatherly, reassuring presence that made me feel very comfortable, especially as a first-time patient. I would also like to thank the receptionist for being patient and polite. The overall experience felt welcoming and well-handled. What also stood out to me was how affordable the consultation was. It genuinely felt like the clinic cares for patients and not just the treatment. Highly recommended.

The most stupidest and nonsense system. Calling all the missed queue at once. So what now? I can suka suka come late, missed my number and the clinic will prioritized me? Useless!!!!! If i can bring my mother to poly i would have already done so. This clinic waiting time is WORST than waiting for hospital or poly queue.

Would give zero if possible. Waited more than 2 hours, only to find out that they gave the same queue number to another patient. After that patient came out, clearly seeing us standing in line, they gave ANOTHER patient the way to see the doctor first. How ridiculous!! Staff did not apologise, just looked stunned as a vegetable, and doctor came out just to say oh sorry we’re busy system messed up. No compassion whatsoever. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you’re feeling very unwell. Might get high blood just waiting in line as this clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Healthline Family Clinic and Surgery Chai Chee charge?

GP consultation fees at private family clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the final amount depending on the complexity of the consultation, any investigations ordered (blood panel S$60–200, X-ray S$80–150), and medications dispensed. Healthline Family Clinic and Surgery Chai Chee is listed at a moderate price point ($$), though specific fees have not been confirmed to KakiList — contact the clinic directly for current pricing. If you hold a CHAS card (Community Health Assist Scheme), check whether the clinic is an enrolled CHAS GP, which would reduce your out-of-pocket cost for acute and chronic conditions. MediSave can be used for chronic disease management under the CDMP for qualifying conditions. GST applies on private medical services. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Healthline Family Clinic and Surgery Chai Chee MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licence information has been supplied to KakiList for this listing. Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — you can verify this on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm their registration status and any disciplinary history. ACRA registration has also not been confirmed for this provider. Given the limited trust-signal information available, patients are strongly encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before attending, and to confirm fees in writing before any investigations or procedures are carried out.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Healthline Family Clinic and Surgery Chai Chee?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to S$700 per year per account holder. Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-enrolled before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP visits, so most patients pay out of pocket for standard consultations. If the GP refers you for a planned procedure or specialist review, request a written referral and financial counselling estimate so you understand the insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket split before committing. CHAS cardholders should confirm enrolment status directly with the clinic.
