At the first visit, the dentist will conduct an examination, take X-rays as needed, and present a treatment plan with itemised costs before any procedure begins. Patients with Medisave-claimable procedures, corporate dental benefits, or Integrated Shield Plan coverage should confirm eligibility and bring relevant documentation to the appointment.
To book an appointment, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry through the contact form on the listing, and ask about available slots, current waiting times, and the cost estimate for your intended treatment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the Singapore Dental Council's public register before treatment.
This is an unrated clinic. Very well taken care of by Dr Natasha.
My last dental appointment was in 2019. Stopped going for dental since the COVID-19 preventive measures then. Around March 2024 got sms/Whatsapp from Healthway Dental to make appointment. Didn't want to initially but subsequently make appointment in Jun 2024. Did consultation, scaling, polishing, and topical fluoride. Also prescribed mouthwash by the doctor. Total cost: $115.70 (inclusive Blue CHAS card subsidy of $91.50). So $24.20 from own pockets. The procedures was ok. However, usually for dental I usually see the dentist with a nurse to assist. For my appointment this time, it is just the dentist and maybe because of that, throughout the procedures, the door was not closed. Nevertheless, it is overall a reasonably comfortable dental session.
I had a pleasant experience at this dental clinic. The front counter male receptionist was polite and efficient. I had my teeth checked and cleaned by Dr Egwin Yeo and he was very gentle so the whole procedure was painless.
Not one who would often give negative reviews but for sure I needed to get this off my chest. Unfortunately for the first time at healthway dental, i did not have a good experience with Dr Janelle Leong unlike my previous visit with a go-to female dentist whom who had resigned years ago or with the hygienist Rena and her assistant on my previous visit. Felt like I’m being scrutinised and judged during my entire scaling and polishing session coupled with an x-ray. The fact she only pointed out what’s wrong with those teeth suggesting you to do A B C etc without providing more information had a whiff of sarcasm in it. Being a woman, she was also not the most gentle at putting the suction tube into my mouth, not giving me enough time to breathe in between as the clinic would have a record of my medical history. I have asthma and I was trying to catch my breath. She does not pause and ask if I am okay and if she can continue with the cleaning. I guess I won’t be back again as the entire experience was awkward and uncomfortable which is UNLESS I managed to get an appointment with hygienist Rena. There are many other dental clinics in Singapore and some dentist needs to know what being genuinely caring assuring gentle and humble means. It’s not just about the revenues. Cheers and take care.
Brought my 3 year-old boy for an emergency consultation due to a loosen tooth from a fall last evening. Receptionist was helpful and suggested the earliest possible time to visit when I called prior. There was no waiting time, and Doctor Janelle and the nurse made the experience really smooth and enjoyable, and they went extra mile to keep my nervous boy calm and entertained. No screens/videos involved, they constantly assured and explained to my boy of every step they were making in the most engaging way possible for a 3y.o.- from sitting on and adjusting the chair, wearing the shades for lights, checking of all teeth (the kind nurse held my boy's hand throughout to give support), and taking of x-rays (this could have been intimidating but it went okay). Thank you team for helping us, appreciate everyone's patience despite the late visit!

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–60, scaling and polishing S$60–150, a basic composite filling S$80–200 per tooth, a simple extraction S$80–200, and a surgical or wisdom-tooth extraction S$300–800 or more depending on complexity. Crowns, bridges, and implants run S$800–3,500+ per unit. GST applies to dental procedures. Confirm the itemised cost estimate in writing before any procedure begins, and check whether your employer's corporate dental benefit, Medisave (claimable for certain surgical procedures and orthodontics under specific schemes), or an Integrated Shield Plan covers any portion of the treatment. No referral is required for a general dental visit — patients can book directly for routine care such as scaling and polishing, fillings, or extractions. For the first visit, expect a clinical examination and X-rays to be taken before any treatment begins; this allows the dentist to assess the full picture rather than treating a single presenting complaint in isolation. If you have a complex medical history — anticoagulant therapy, bisphosphonate use, uncontrolled diabetes, or a heart condition — inform the clinic when booking so the dentist can take appropriate precautions. Specialist referrals for orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, or implantology are arranged from within the Healthway network or via the patient's polyclinic if a subsidised route is preferred.
All practising dentists in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Registration can be verified on the SDC's public register at dentalcouncil.gov.sg — search by the dentist's name or registration number before your appointment. Specialist dentists (orthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, and endodontists) hold an additional specialist registration and should be listed on the SDC specialist register. No regulatory licences are recorded in this KakiList listing, so patients are advised to confirm the consulting dentist's SDC registration number directly with the clinic before proceeding with treatment.
