The clinic holds a 4.5/5 rating across 42 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent patient satisfaction, though independent verification of the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctors' SMC registrations is recommended before booking. For a GP visit, patients can walk in or contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to check queue times or book ahead. A typical consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, prescriptions where appropriate, and referral letters to specialist outpatient clinics if a higher level of care is needed. Singapore Citizens and PRs with a polyclinic or GP referral letter can access public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinics at subsidised rates of S$30–80, with waiting times of four to twelve weeks for non-urgent conditions; self-referred private specialist consultations run S$120–250 for a first appointment. Healthway Medical participates in various corporate and insurance panels — confirm your specific plan's coverage before the visit. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia, subject to the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limits.
Contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current operating hours, panel insurance acceptance, and whether same-day appointments are available before making the trip.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I had a great experience at [Healthway Bukit Timah]. The staff Kalaivani were friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They handled everything efficiently and made sure I understood each step of the process. Dr. [ Ooi Tong Li ] was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, kind, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I left feeling well taken care of and confident in the treatment plan. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for quality care!
Dr Ooi is an amazing & patient doctor! knows how to deal with my grandfather so well despite his stubbornness! was able to contact both Carol and Dr Ooi since yesterday regarding his illness & they were really helpful :) Amazing team of healthcare professionals
Staff, Jun was very professional in handling my medical check up and friendly on our conversation. Dr Ooi is very nice, professional and friendly! Counter lady didn’t managed to get her name but she’s nice and displayed a good smile too! Happy and blessed for the visit today. 👍🏻👍🏻
GP is really just GP. Can’t expect anything more. But if u r not sure about your diagnosis, should refer the patient to specialist immediately instead of earning consultation fees and selling useless medicines. Waste money and time. Hope future GP can be less commercial.
Been here a few times as it is one of the most convenient clinics that accepts corporate insurance in this area. Dr Gregory is quick in diagnosis but do take time to explain if you ask questions. Counter staff is polite and efficient.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the fee varying by complexity, time taken, and any investigations ordered. Common add-ons include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), and prescribed medications — these are billed separately from the consultation fee. GST applies on private medical services. For subsidised care, a polyclinic visit costs S$8–50 for Singapore Citizens depending on income tier, but Healthway Medical is a private GP clinic and standard private rates apply unless your corporate or insurance panel covers part of the bill. Confirm your Integrated Shield Plan or company panel acceptance before the visit to understand your out-of-pocket portion. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences have been confirmed in this listing's data, so independent verification is essential before booking. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — this is searchable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC), verifiable by name at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Healthway Medical is a established network of GP clinics in Singapore, which provides some contextual confidence, but you should still confirm the specific clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be verified before booking, particularly if you plan to make an insurance or MediSave claim that requires a licensed provider.
MediSave can be used at approved GP clinics for consultations under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions — the annual withdrawal limit is S$500 (general) or S$700 (CDMP). Confirm with the clinic whether they are an approved CDMP provider and whether your condition is on the list before assuming MediSave applies. For Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders, most IP riders cover GP visits either fully or with a small co-payment — check your policy's panel clinic list, as some IP riders require you to visit a specific panel GP for outpatient cover to kick in. If the clinic issues a referral letter to a specialist or hospital, keep this as it may be required for your IP claim. For any planned investigation or procedure, request an itemised cost estimate in writing that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
