Patients at a GP clinic typically walk in or call ahead for a same-day appointment. At the first visit, the doctor will take a brief history, conduct an examination, and advise on diagnosis and treatment. Prescriptions are dispensed on-site in most cases. For ongoing chronic conditions, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) may apply, allowing MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500–700 per year for covered conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders. Referrals to specialist outpatient clinics at public hospitals can be initiated here if a polyclinic referral is not already in hand, and a GP letter may reduce waiting times. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel before attending if they wish to use direct billing.
To make an appointment or check waiting times, contact Healthway Medical (Lengkong Tiga) directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form listed on this page.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
A. Dr. Chua Chong Bing ⭐ 7/5 Stars: Dr. Chua is an exceptional physician. His professionalism & care are truly top-class. B. Staffs ⭐ 5/5 Stars: The clinic staffs are very helpful, patient, and clear in their explanations. C. Dr. Locum (M14760E) ⭐ 0/5 Star (Based on my experience) Unfortunately, my recent visit with this doctor was extremely disappointing, especially given that it was an urgent situation involving my 4-year-old child. In my personal experience, he appeared: • Very unapproachable • Unwelcoming • Uninterested in listening to our concerns • Unwilling to explain my child’s condition or next steps • Irritated when asked questions Based on this encounter, I personally would not feel comfortable seeing this doctor again. I hope the clinic will look into this matter, as attitude and communication are crucial—especially in paediatric situations.
My family and I have been seeing Dr Cheow Xunchen. He’s friendly, professional, and always gives the appropriate medications and advice. We are happy to entrust our care to his capable hands.
Have decided to change clinic. This was initially my preferred clinic but i have decided to change. Paid 350+ for blood test (only to be contacted a few days later that they did a mistake using the wrong tube!!!). Throughout, NO apologies... just what to do, no choice...) from the reception staff by call. I asked if they can refund me so that i can do my test elsewhere, they said NO... They made a mistake and they refused to refund???? Came to redo blood test and waited for an hour. Front desk nurses are simply rude, gigging and chatting in Malay throughout, hiding behind, while at work. Very high handed, non empathetic. Totally unprofessional. If they have been humble and admitted their mistake, apologise... i think i would have felt better. The fact the they behaved so matter of factly (it is a fact that the mistake is made, you should first and foremost APOLOGISE) really pissed me off! *Dr Chua is a good doctor. He is the only only who said sorry the first thing he saw me. It is so unfortunate the front desk/ reception staff are so poorly trained. I guess you get MONKEYS when you pay peanuts.
Dr Chua, the resident GP here, is a fantastic doctor. He deserves better. This clinic is not well-run. They close at random, arbitrary times, and not once, but 3 times now I’ve tried to come here. Well in advance of their closing hour. There’s always some last minute emergency, and they’re just closed, or they simply close much earlier than the hours posted on their website and clinic door. The reason why we continue coming here is Dr Chua; keep it up, doctor!
My 7 yo son was ART positive and I queued half hour before afternoon session opens 2PM. The registration system got jumbled and my son and I waited outside in the sweltering heat for 2 hours. There were only 2 chairs outside but a long stream of patients. The saving grace is that Dr Chua is such a jovial physician and was very gentle with my boy. Wished they can improve on their admin and make seeing a doctor not just a chore but an experience.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up consultations at the lower end of that range. Common add-ons billed separately include investigations such as a basic blood panel (S$60–200), urine tests, swab tests, and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For CDMP-listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and others), MediSave can be used to offset outpatient bills up to S$500 per year (or S$700 under CDMP). Confirm at registration whether the clinic is CDMP-enrolled and whether direct MediSave billing is available. Any planned procedure should come with a written cost estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. See the full GP and 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Healthway Medical (Lengkong Tiga) in this directory. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Prospective patients are strongly advised to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking. The absence of listed licences here does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it cannot be confirmed from the information currently available in this listing. Verify the doctor's name on the SMC register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but GP outpatient visits are usually not claimable under IP unless the plan includes an outpatient rider. Confirm with your insurer whether direct billing is available at this clinic before attending. MediSave can be used for outpatient bills under the MediSave 500 limit (S$500 per year) for general GP visits at CDMP-enrolled clinics, rising to S$700 per year for CDMP-covered chronic conditions. Separate MediSave limits of S$200–600 apply for outpatient cancer treatment, kidney dialysis, and selected scans. Confirm at registration whether the clinic is enrolled in CDMP and whether direct MediSave deduction is offered. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session to receive an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing — this is the most reliable way to avoid an unexpected final bill.
