About Healthway Medical Punggol Field
Healthway Medical Punggol Field is a general practice clinic located at Punggol Plaza, serving residents across the Punggol and north-east Singapore area. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 across 122 reviews — a robust sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention; prospective patients are encouraged to read recent reviews for context before visiting. Pricing is positioned at the mid-range ($$) for a private GP clinic, consistent with the S$25–60 band typical for general practice consultations in Singapore.
For most patients, the first step is a walk-in consultation for acute conditions — no referral is required for a GP visit. The clinic handles general outpatient care including assessment of common illnesses, chronic disease management under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, health screening, and referrals to specialists where clinically indicated. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans or MediShield Life should confirm at the front desk which subsidies, CDMP claims, or MediSave withdrawals apply to their visit. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, a polyclinic referral letter may secure a subsidised public hospital SOC appointment if waiting time is acceptable. Contact channels include WhatsApp, phone, and an online enquiry form.
To make an appointment or enquire about waiting times, reach Healthway Medical Punggol Field directly via WhatsApp or phone before visiting, particularly during peak morning hours when GP queues in this area tend to be longest.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Ask for my IC but did not verify my name and IC, resulted in them not realising I changed my name and printing my old name on my medications and MC. During consultation, the doctor was very dismissive regarding my itch and rash. She gave me antihistamines and did not provide any tips to take note on or care for my rashes. When I asked if there are any creams that can help, she mentioned that "cream cannot cover your whole body". She wanted to prescribe calamine lotion even though she was aware that I have red inflamed patches on my eyes. There was none at the clinic so she did not give an alternative topical medication in the end. When I asked her if it's eczema, she said it was an allergic reaction. Additionally, there was an Indian helper who could not really speak English before me and the doctor asked loudly, "You cannot speak english? Your ma'am and sir Indian also?" then she proceeded with "No wonder" out loud. I think it was extremely rude and unprofessional of her. Please apologise to the helper who was in Q number 36 for afternoon session today. She was just trying to seek medical help and this is the kind of service she was faced with.
I need to make a serious complaint about what happened at your clinic on 27 May 2025. Your sign clearly says you’re open until 5:00 PM, but I arrived at 4:30 PM and was told by the front desk staff, Sheela, that I could no longer register to see a doctor. This is completely unacceptable. Turning patients away 30 minutes before closing is unprofessional and shows zero respect for people’s time—especially those seeking medical help. On top of that, your doctors don’t even start on time during business hours. If you’re not willing to follow your stated hours, then you should update them immediately. Otherwise, you’re misleading the public. I expect a proper response and action. This should not happen again.
I had a wonderful experience at this clinic! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially with children. They went out of their way to make my niece feel comfortable, and it made such a difference during her visit. She was a bit nervous about seeing the doctor, but their warmth and patience really put her at ease. The doctors were professional, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. You can truly feel the care and dedication in how they treat their patients. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone, especially families with kids!
Date visited : 14 July 2025 Timing : 9.10am Number obtained :9 This dissatisfaction arises from patients were called after my number who registered after me no.10 , no.11 were called by doctor When I clarified with the receptionist after my number was not called , she just said either doctors will see me. When no.12 was called , I spoke with the Indian receptionist whose attitude needs some improvement, not only she argues rudely and show No sense of customer Service . After I had seen the doctor , she then said other doctor had opened my file so the other doctor can’t attend to me which of course needless to say in a very bad manner . All this misunderstanding n misinformation will be cleared had she explained upfront in a polite and Pleasant manner . Suggest she went for customers service Course in order not to offend your future patients

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with the exact amount depending on the complexity of the visit and any investigations ordered. At the mid-range ($$) pricing tier, expect to pay within this band for a straightforward consultation. Additional items billed on top of the consultation may include blood tests (S$60–200 depending on the panel), X-rays (S$80–150), prescriptions, and any procedures such as wound dressings or injections. GST applies on private medical services. For CDMP-enrolled patients managing chronic conditions, MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits may offset part of the consultation and medication costs — confirm eligibility at the front desk. For any planned investigations or referrals, request a written estimate that separates the consultation fee, investigation costs, and any insurance or MediSave deductions before proceeding. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration appears in Healthway Medical Punggol Field's listing data on KakiList. While Healthway Medical is a well-known chain in Singapore, the absence of licence details in this specific listing means independent verification is strongly recommended before booking. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must be registered on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg — search by the named doctor's full name to confirm registration status and specialist accreditation. For a GP clinic, basic SMC registration is the key credential to confirm. Verify the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry directly before your visit — neither alone is sufficient, and both should be confirmable in under five minutes online.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays rather than routine GP visits — check your policy terms, as most IPs do not cover standard outpatient GP consultations without a rider or specific outpatient benefit. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, COPD, and others) under the S$700/year withdrawal limit, and for general outpatient use up to S$500/year under the MediSave 500 scheme. For patients referred onward to a specialist or public hospital SOC, a GP referral letter from this clinic can unlock subsidised rates (S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens) versus the S$120–250 first consult at a private specialist — though public SOC waits for non-urgent cases typically run 4–12 weeks. Confirm MediSave and CDMP eligibility with the front desk at the point of consultation rather than after, to avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
