About HeartlandHealth Telok Blangah Drive
HeartlandHealth Telok Blangah Drive is a general practice clinic located at 77 Telok Blangah Drive, #01-244, serving residents in the Telok Blangah and surrounding areas. The clinic is listed as KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 3.7 out of 5 rating across 65 Google reviews, a moderate sample that suggests a mixed patient experience and is worth reading in detail before booking. No regulatory licences, including an MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC doctor registration, are currently listed on this profile, which is a meaningful gap for a medical provider — patients are strongly advised to verify these directly with the clinic before attendance.
For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or call ahead to confirm waiting times. A standard GP consultation covers acute illness, repeat prescriptions for stable chronic conditions, and referral letters to specialist outpatient clinics or restructured hospitals where further investigation is needed. Patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia may be eligible for the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at enrolled CDMP clinics. Subsidised patients who hold a Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) card — Blue, Orange, or Merdeka/Pioneer — should confirm whether this clinic is a CHAS-enrolled panel clinic before attending, as subsidy rates differ significantly between enrolled and non-enrolled GPs.
To book an appointment or check current waiting times, contact HeartlandHealth Telok Blangah Drive directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on this page.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Be prepared to wait very long for consultation. I came here at 7.40pm and my number was only called at 9.10pm. Upon registration the number called was 19 and mine was 26 so its only 5 patients before me. If you do the maths, his average consultation period was around 20 mins per patient. This is a GP not a specialist mind you. A family before me was even mad and shouted at the counter for the long waiting time. I don't blame the counter staff or clinic but the waiting time should be managed well. Heartland's management should do something to maintain the image of the brand.
This clinic charges $62 for domestic helper 6 monthly checkup instead of $25 at other clinics. The cost of blood test (syphilis & pregnancy) is not included in the consultation. The clinic manager was dishonest when I enquired about the cost and told me it was $37 initially, only to levy twice the cost during payment. Please do not visit this clinic as they are dishonest. In addition, the clinic staff are extremely rude.
I called to make an appointment but was told they are not allowed to do so and only take appointment via walk-ins. I asked if they can make a concession as my 4 year old was having a high fever and there was no one else at home to care for her. If I can’t make a phone appt I have to bring her with me just to make an appt and subsequently either wait there for at least 45 mins (that was how long the phone operator said the queue was), or bring her back home and to the clinic again (?? Why would anyone make a sick child go through that). In any case, this is not the clinic of choice. Another clinic that we usually go to is closed which left me with no choice but to approach healthplus. Regardless, this clinic has zero empathy and does not exercise any flexibility.
I’d like to commend Nur Insyirah from Heartland Health Telok Blangah Clinic for her exceptional support in coordinating my family’s vaccinations. With our differing schedules and limited vaccine stock, it was a challenging situation—but Nur handled it with remarkable care and efficiency. She kept me updated throughout the process, ensured everything was arranged smoothly, and was consistently accommodating to our needs. Her thoughtful communication and dedication made a real difference. Thank you, Nur, for going the extra mile!

GP consultation fees at private general practice clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 for a standard visit, with investigations billed separately — a basic blood panel S$60–200, a chest X-ray S$80–150, and a urine dipstick or rapid test S$10–40. GST applies on private medical services. Prescriptions are usually dispensed on-site and billed per item. Patients holding a CHAS card (Blue, Orange, Merdeka, or Pioneer Generation) receive subsidised rates at enrolled CHAS GP clinics — confirm with the clinic whether it participates in the CHAS scheme before attending, as this can reduce an acute visit to S$0–18.50 for eligible patients. MediSave can be used for CDMP-enrolled chronic conditions up to S$700/year. For any planned procedure, request a written cost breakdown that separates consultation, investigations, and prescription costs. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration is currently listed on this KakiList profile, which is a significant gap for a medical provider. Patients are strongly advised to confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly with the clinic before attending. Neither the clinic name nor the address alone is sufficient verification — the licence and the named doctor's registration are the two mandatory credentials that must be in place for a lawful GP practice in Singapore.
MediSave can be used at CDMP-enrolled GP clinics for the management of listed chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — up to a withdrawal limit of S$700 per year. Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-enrolled before assuming MediSave is applicable to your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. For acute illness consultations, MediSave is generally not claimable at GP clinics under the standard outpatient rules. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically do not cover standard GP outpatient visits — they are primarily designed for hospitalisation, day surgery, and selected specialist care. CHAS cardholders should confirm CHAS enrolment status directly. For any investigation or procedure ordered at the clinic, ask for an itemised receipt that separates consultation fees, investigation costs, and prescriptions so that any claimable portions can be submitted to your insurer accurately.
