MediSave can be used for CDMP-eligible conditions up to the S$700 annual withdrawal limit. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should note that private GP visits are generally not covered under IP inpatient riders; however, CDMP claims and selected outpatient panels may apply depending on the insurer.

Our family doctor. Doctor Lee has been professional and top customer service to my family over the years. Friendly, easy to talk to, knowledge. Thanks from Kyle and his Daddy & Mummy
Went for covid vaccination with my husband yesterday night and first time met Dr Lee. Very friendly and humble doctor. We didn't feel any pain at all during the vaccination. The counter staff on duty was also very nice and polite. She even wore a smile to greet us. Thank you so much.
"I had a very unpleasant experience at the toa payoh branch clinic. Before heading there, I called to confirm did the clinic offer oxygen treatment for my father-in-law's asthma attack and was told the consultation fee would be $55 if we arrived before 10 pm and $100 if after. So we quickly made our way there without any hesitation, i still called the clinic to register first and direction at 9:40pm, as it's urgent as my father in law was breathless, the nurse told as it alright to register when reach. Arriving at 9:58 pm, but all the 3 to 4 nurses seemed busy with cleaning and ignored our calling and ask me to wait, finally we registered at 10:01 pm, we were told we'd have to pay the $100 fee and doctor will arrive 10 :20 pm only , i was upset and explained we were there before 10 pm, but the staff wasn't receptive. Instead, they suggested we visit a nearby others 24-hour clinic or A&E if we can't wait or don't agreed to the price. If I'd known we'd be charged the higher fee, I wouldn't have rushed my father-in-law, who was struggling with asthma instead of going to A&E straight. The clinic's response seemed unkind and irresponsible. They should review their processes and consider patients' needs. A simple check of the CCTV footage would have shown our arrival time and that no one was attending to patients at the counter." Leaving us with no choice to settle for the more costly consultation fee and no customer service at all. Ended we paid for $229 for all consultation + treatment and still need to rush to A&E for treatment. Only compliment to the night shift Dr Tan who was very patient , carefully examined my dad and made suggestions for us.
Heard and read decent reviews abt resident dr lee. Brought my elderly mom and helper to see the doc as they were both down with fever. Dr Lee was not present and Unfortunately it was via teleconsult. Our experience was unpleasant as dr Kong was impatient and rude towards elderly. Given that it’s teleconsult, it’s inevitable that there may be audio lag and the parties may talk cross each other. Doc did not show any understanding or patience towards elderly patient. And even call my mom out when she didn’t answer his questions accurately. For my helper, the tele consultation was done in less than 1 min. The nurse/ clinic manager was much nicer and patient. Nonetheless, This will be our first and last visit to this clinic.
Didn’t know we have such a great/friendly/helpful Doctor Lee C S in our Toa Payoh neighborhood that work longer hours until I interacted with him tonight. Will be my preferred choice heartland clinic for future needs. 👍🏼💖👍🏼

GP consultations at private and community clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations (blood tests S$20–80, urine tests S$10–30), prescribed medications, and medical certificates. The clinic displays a '$$' price indicator, suggesting mid-range pricing for the area. For Singapore Citizens and PRs enrolled in the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), subsidised rates apply at participating GP clinics — confirm with the clinic whether they are a CHAS-enrolled panel before your visit, as this can reduce the consultation fee to S$0–19.50 for Blue/Orange cardholders or S$23.50–28.50 for Pioneer and Merdeka Generation cardholders, depending on the condition. MediSave can be used for CDMP-eligible chronic conditions up to S$700 per year. Ask the clinic for a fee breakdown before treatment. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

MediSave can be used at GP clinics for CDMP-listed chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, selected mental health conditions, and others — up to the S$700 annual outpatient withdrawal limit. Confirm with the clinic at registration that your condition is CDMP-listed and that the clinic is an approved MediSave-accredited provider before assuming the deduction will go through. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover standard GP outpatient visits; coverage kicks in for inpatient admissions, day surgery, and in some plans selected specialist outpatient referrals. If you are being referred onward to a specialist or a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic, a GP referral letter can reduce the specialist consultation fee under the subsidised SOC pathway for Singapore Citizens. For any planned procedure or investigation, request an itemised cost estimate from the clinic that separates the MediSave-claimable portion, any insurance-eligible component, and the out-of-pocket balance before proceeding.
