The clinic has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. For most visits, the journey begins with a walk-in or phone call to check queue availability. A GP consultation typically covers acute illness, repeat prescriptions for chronic conditions managed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP — covering hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, and other listed conditions), and referrals to specialists at public hospitals via the polyclinic-equivalent pathway. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether the clinic is a panel provider. MediSave can be used under the S$500 outpatient withdrawal limit for general visits, or S$700 under CDMP for qualifying chronic conditions. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, and point-of-care diagnostics may be ordered on-site or at a partner laboratory.
To make an appointment or check the queue, call the clinic directly on the phone number listed on this page before making your way down.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Mum had a fall at nearby wet market. Samaritan brought my mum to this clinic and Dr Khoo saw my mum. Deep cut to the forehead, basic dressing was given, help ease my Aging parents that it’s fine, rang me up, kept me timely informed of situation and waited for me to head down to clinic. Gave good medical advice, much appreciated. My mum is ok now thanks Dr Khoo.
Dr Khoo is solid, she understands patients symptoms well and is very experienced. When i see a doctor, i need a doctor to tell me what could be / may be going on rather than those who tell me “ok heres the meds heres the mc thank u bye”. Dr Khoo will explain what to look out for and tell you to monitor. At least a peace of mind. Amazing.
Dr Khoo is amazing. She is really very professional and understands kids very well. Her way of medical assessment and prescription is very notable. The front staffs however are completely opposite. Very unprofessional and not helpful. They give q numbers to their selective individuals when we had came prior but had to wait.
I've been visiting Dr Khoo since year 2000. She is very patient and detailed, will always ensure to follow up with my sickness and will not hesitate to recommend me to specialist if there's a need to. Always checking on my results with the specialist to make sure my health is in good shape. She always remind me that I'm still young, must take care of my health. I recommended my sis to her for 2nd opinion and she said Dr Khoo is very professional.
My family of 4 has been seeing the doctor there for past 8 years. Dr Khoo is extremely patient, knowledgeable and experienced. She takes the extra time and effort to thoroughly explain the condition etc. The consultations are super thorough as she doesn't just brush off your concerns or worries and takes time to explain clearly instead. Some doctors I've seen elsewhere (in Serangoon Gardens) can be rather clinical and condescending but the doctors here are so approachable and friendly. So I'd rather drive to this clinic than walk over to the nearest one around my place.

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences are currently recorded in this KakiList listing for HK Family Clinic and Surgery Ang Mo Kio, and the clinic is not ACRA-verified here. Patients are strongly advised to confirm both the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking. Neither confirmation alone is sufficient — both should be checked. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits up to S$500 per year under the general outpatient withdrawal limit, or S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia. Confirm whether the clinic is CDMP-registered before relying on this limit. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) coverage layered on MediShield Life generally applies to inpatient admissions and day surgery rather than routine GP visits — check your plan's outpatient rider, if any, and whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel. CHAS subsidies for eligible cardholders are a separate and often more relevant funding source for GP visits. If investigations or referrals are involved, ask for a clear written cost estimate before proceeding.
