About HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok

About HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok

HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok is a GP clinic located at 630 Bukit Batok Central, #01-148, serving residents in the Bukit Batok area and accessible to patients from across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact information have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 3.8/5 rating across 423 Google reviews, a robust sample that reflects a broadly consistent patient experience, though individual visits will naturally vary. No regulatory licences have been provided in the listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so prospective patients are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration independently before booking.

A typical visit to a GP clinic follows a straightforward pathway. For routine consultations, walk-ins are generally accepted, though calling ahead during peak hours can reduce waiting time. You may be seen for acute conditions such as respiratory infections, fever, gastrointestinal complaints, minor injuries, and skin conditions, as well as for chronic disease follow-up under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia. Investigations such as blood panels or urinalysis may be ordered during the visit and billed separately from the consultation fee. Prescriptions are dispensed on-site. If a specialist referral is required, a GP referral letter from this clinic to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) can reduce your subsidised consultation fee to S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, compared with S$120–250 for a direct walk-in to a private specialist.

The clinic states it opens at 5:00 PM, but the doctor did not arrive on time. I waited 20 minutes just for the doctor to show up, and even then, you won’t actually see him until around 5:30 PM because he still needs time to “get ready.” What’s worse is that the front desk staff seemed completely comfortable with this delay, as if it’s normal for the doctor to arrive at 5:20 PM despite the official opening time being 5:00 PM. If that’s the case, please be honest and change your operating hours accordingly. If you’re using insurance, I strongly suggest not supporting unprofessional practices like this. Time is valuable, and this clinic clearly does not respect patients’ time. The only advantage is the location but there are other nearby clinics that are far more punctual and worth your time. Would not recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised of the good customer service despite the amount of negative reviews here. My mum was on wheelchair when visiting the clinic and while the clinic is rather small and rather packed with patients, the receptionists are so friendly and offered to help so my mum felt comfortable. The doctor who attended to my mum was very friendly as well, and guided through her checks smoothly. Overall, had a genuinely great experience here!

The dr was quick at diagnosing me however ,the main reason I went was for a fever ,I heard the staff mention that I had a temperature of 38.3 from what I heard ,she took 5 other patients temperature before my number was called. When I went to consult the doctor she did not register the temperature in the data and said I had a temperature of 36.3

Dr Tan xx, saw him for child's behaviour issue. He referred me to the wrong hospital and I had to email the correct clinic on my own. Looks half asleep during consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok charge?

GP consultations at private or GP group clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up visits at the lower end of that range. Investigations are billed on top: a basic blood panel S$60–200, urine dipstick or culture S$20–60, and X-ray S$80–150. Prescriptions carry a separate dispensing charge. GST applies on private medical services. If you hold a Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP)-eligible condition such as hypertension or diabetes, MediSave can be used to pay up to S$500–700 per year for selected outpatient treatments at registered CDMP clinics. Confirm with the clinic whether they are a CDMP-registered provider before your visit. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, ask for a written estimate itemising all charges before committing. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been provided in this listing. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. The 3.8/5 rating across 423 Google reviews is a robust sample and provides some directional confidence in patient experience, but it does not substitute for checking the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry. Both checks are straightforward and take under five minutes online. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at HMI OneCare Clinic Bukit Batok?

MediSave can be used at GP clinics registered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for outpatient treatment of listed conditions — hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected others — up to S$500 per year (or S$700 if you have two or more CDMP conditions). Confirm with the clinic whether they are a registered CDMP provider, as not all private GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient admissions and day surgery rather than routine GP outpatient visits. Some IP riders include an outpatient rider, but these are plan-specific — check your policy documents or call your insurer before assuming coverage. Screen for Life subsidised health screening is available at CHAS GP clinics for eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs; confirm whether this clinic participates if you are seeking a subsidised baseline screening. For any planned referral or procedure arising from a GP consultation here, request a written financial counselling estimate from the receiving specialist or hospital that clearly splits insurer, MediSave, and out-of-pocket amounts before proceeding.
