Nurse Karen was assigned to my grandma. Without prompting, Irene arranged for Nurse Karen to meet the family at the hospital to accompany my grandma home. Nurse Karen was so gentle and spoke comfortingly to my grandma despite the short time they spent together. Those around them felt comforted too. Irene displayed lots of sympathy and empathy at the news of my grandma's passing and facilitated the refund without being asked. We were very grateful for Home Instead team who helped us when we were in need for caregiver service. My mom needed to go for daily radiation for period of 3 weeks, which was difficult for us as working couple. With Irene's help in assigning a daily caregiver who came to pick up my mom, brought her to hospital, waited for her session and brought her home, it was such a huge relief. Knowing she was in safe hand with updates when my mom had reached home, we were very grateful. Even the protocol was quite strict, by making sure caregiver met my mom in her house for pick up and waited until she entered her house. Invoicing of the service and any related transport was done meticulously by Irene and we never had any dispute. Once again, thank you to Irene, Berenice and Natasha for taking good care of my mom.
