About Hosanna Dental Surgery
Hosanna Dental Surgery is a dental practice located at Toa Payoh, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.6-out-of-5 rating across 88 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample size and provides a reasonable directional signal of patient satisfaction. No ACRA registration has been confirmed at this time.
New patients typically begin with an initial consultation where the dentist reviews dental history, carries out an examination, and discusses any presenting concerns — whether routine scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, or more involved restorative or cosmetic work. It is worth confirming the scope of the first visit when booking, as some clinics charge a separate consultation fee on top of any procedure carried out on the same day. Patients with specific needs — such as wisdom tooth assessment, orthodontic enquiries, or child dentistry — should mention this when calling ahead so the appropriate appointment length is reserved. Hosanna Dental Surgery can be reached by phone or through the contact form on their listing.
To make an appointment, contact the clinic directly by phone or via the online enquiry form, and ask about current availability, accepted insurance panels, and whether CHAS or MediSave claims apply to your treatment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
This is our 4 year old's first ever visit to the dentist, and we are so glad that we came here. Dr Chris was excellent! He was so incredibly patient, assuring and kind to us. He explained clearly what our son's condition was with the aid of animated graphics, and what the treatment options were. He explained to our son every step that he did in a playful way. He also played some cartoons to put our son at ease. At the end of the session, he also made a balloon dinosaur for him! Our son left the session happy, and completely unafraid of dentists. Great start to having future teeth checks and good dental health!
Very helpful and caring doctor. I had a very painful toothache for the past few days and had already visited two other dental clinics. Both were unable to pinpoint the issue and gave me very different diagnoses. I didn’t feel assured by either, so I decided to come back to Hosanna. Dr. Lim and his assistant were extremely kind and helpful. They stayed back after work hours to help me complete my root canal treatment after I explained my toothache and that I would be traveling for a work trip the next day. Both Dr. Lim and his assistant are very skillful, and I felt completely at ease under their care. Dr. Lim was able to accurately identify the tooth causing the pain and explained the cause and the treatment plan in detail. The whole process was pain-free. The front desk staff was also very helpful and ensured that Dr. Lim was aware of my situation—I would not have been able to see him without their assistance. Overall, everyone at the clinic is very friendly, and I would definitely recommend Hosanna.
Dr Chris is always a reassuring, approachable dentist. We have followed him for more than a decade and we can attest to the excellent service provided. Booking a slot is fuss free, and the reception will call us a day to remind us. When i arrive, the time to enter was prompt. I am always impressed by the friendliness of the staff assisting as well and they are definitely very customer centric. Highly recommended without a doubt.
This is a good dental clinic that a friend of mine recommended to me. The doctors are very friendly and down-to-earth, which makes it easy to communicate with them. All of my experiences there so far have been good. There was only one time I felt a little impatient because I had to wait a bit longer. That was on me, I guess, because I had other things to attend to afterward. I learned that I shouldn’t try to squeeze in too many things at once. Anyway, my husband and the kids will be visiting soon for their regular check-ups!
Been here for more than 10 years. Dr. Lim is very humble, caring and cheerful doctor. Very professional and detailed to make sure my denture fits me perfectly. Will recommend more friends to him! Wishing him a happy new year and merry Christmas and successful business!

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure. A routine consultation typically runs S$20–50, scaling and polishing S$60–150, a basic filling S$80–200 depending on the material and number of surfaces, and an extraction S$80–300 or more for surgical cases such as impacted wisdom teeth. More involved treatments — crowns, bridges, root canals, implants, and orthodontics — are priced on assessment and can run into the thousands. GST applies to dental procedures. Patients holding CHAS cards (Community Health Assist Scheme) may be entitled to subsidised fees at participating GP and dental clinics — confirm with Hosanna Dental Surgery whether they are a CHAS-registered panel clinic before booking. MediSave can be used for certain surgical procedures. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required for a general dental visit — patients can book directly by phone or through the contact form. The first visit typically includes a clinical examination, a discussion of your dental history and any current concerns, and where necessary, X-rays to inform the treatment plan. Some treatments, such as orthodontic assessment or surgical extractions, may require a follow-up appointment after the initial review. If you are claiming under a corporate dental insurance plan, check your insurer's pre-authorisation requirements before the appointment, as some plans require prior approval for non-routine procedures. Patients with dental anxiety should mention this when booking so the team can make appropriate arrangements.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which operates under the Ministry of Health. Registration can be verified on the SDC's public online register using the practitioner's name. Specialist dentists — such as orthodontists, oral surgeons, or periodontists — hold additional specialist registration on a separate SDC list. No regulatory licences for Hosanna Dental Surgery have been confirmed in the current listing data. Before your appointment, you may wish to confirm the name of your treating dentist and verify their SDC registration directly at the SDC website. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
