About "Hua Yue Education Centre"
Hua Yue Education Centre is a tuition centre listed under the Education category on KakiList, with coverage across Singapore. The centre is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 5/5 rating on Google, though this is based on only 6 reviews, so the signal should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. The centre is located at Tampines Plaza 2 in the east of Singapore, and its pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier.
Families considering Hua Yue Education Centre should begin by enquiring about whether the centre covers their child's academic level and specific syllabus, whether that is the MOE mainstream curriculum, PSLE preparation, or secondary school subjects. It is worth asking whether tuition is conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as teaching format can significantly affect outcomes. Prospective students are encouraged to ask about a trial class before committing to a term, and to clarify the term commitment length, any materials fees, and whether sessions are held in-person at the Tampines centre or available online.
To take the next step, contact Hua Yue Education Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to check availability for your child's level and to arrange a trial class. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Hua Yue Education Centre" directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My daughter has been attending Hua Yue since the start of Primary 3, and we are truly grateful for the progress she has made. She is currently taking Higher Chinese, and under the guidance of her teacher, Lai Laoshi, her verbal expression, vocabulary (Chinese word bank), and composition writing have improved tremendously. Next year she will be in P5 hence they will split those in HCL to another class. Lai Laoshi is a very soft-spoken, patient, and caring teacher who understands her students’ needs and always encourages them gently yet effectively. The learning materials provided by Hua Yue are also very well-structured and of high quality, helping to build a strong foundation and confidence in Chinese. We are very happy with our experience and thankful to Hua Yue and Lai Laoshi for their dedication and support. Highly recommended to parents looking for a nurturing and effective Chinese enrichment programme!
Hua Yue went to a lot of trouble to come up with a great 3 day program for my son visiting from Australia. Everyone there was extremely professional and fun - made my son and I very welcome. Highly recommend.
My daughter started attending the center few months ago and it’s a very nice and cosy environment. The teachers are caring and the staff generally very understanding. Worksheets have good content too. Looking forward to evaluate if my daughter’s understanding of Chinese has improved.
My P3 girl’s exact words on her class — “BEST CHINESE CLASS!”.. “Because 没有太多人,和老师没有 strict.” Nice tutor and small class size is ideal. She can have the teacher’s attention and is more confident to speak during class. Very nice snack corner for students during break time too!
My daughter loves her Chinese lesson as the teacher is kind and patient and the class size is small.

In Singapore, tuition centres typically charge on a per-session or monthly package basis, with group tuition generally ranging from S$30 to S$80 per session depending on level and subject, and one-to-one sessions running higher. It is worth asking whether there is a separate fee for the trial class, whether materials or workbooks are charged additionally, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Some centres require a term commitment upfront, so confirm the refund or withdrawal policy before signing up. See the full Tuition Centers cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced rate or as part of the first session fee. Hua Yue Education Centre has not publicly stated its trial class policy, so it is advisable to ask directly when enquiring. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching pace suits your child, whether the level of difficulty is appropriate for their current standing, and whether the teaching style encourages active participation. Observe how the tutor explains concepts and whether your child feels comfortable asking questions. If a formal trial is not available, ask whether you can sit in for a short observation before committing to a full term.
Credential information for the tutors at Hua Yue Education Centre is not available on the listing. When contacting the centre, it is worth asking whether tutors hold an NIE qualification or a degree in the subject they teach, and how many years of teaching or tutoring experience they have. It is also helpful to confirm that the syllabus taught is aligned with the current MOE framework for your child's level, as curriculum revisions — particularly for Primary Mathematics and English — have occurred in recent years. If your child is on an international curriculum such as IB or IGCSE, confirm the tutor's familiarity with that specific programme. If this information is not readily provided, treat it as a point to clarify before committing to a term.
