About I-Health Medical Clinic Bendemeer
I-Health Medical Clinic Bendemeer is a general practice clinic located at 30 Bendemeer Road, serving residents across the Bendemeer and Kallang area as well as patients from across Singapore. It holds a 4.4-star rating across 306 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reliable indication of patient experience. Pricing follows a per-visit model consistent with GP practice norms; current consultation fees should be confirmed directly with the clinic.
Patients typically contact the clinic by phone or through an online enquiry form to check appointment availability or walk-in hours. A GP consultation at a private clinic generally runs S$25–60 before investigations and medications are added; any prescribed blood work, X-rays, or referral letters will be itemised separately. Singapore Citizens and PRs managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders may be able to use the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) to offset outpatient costs within the MediSave S$700 annual withdrawal limit. Where a polyclinic or GP referral is needed for specialist follow-up at a public hospital, the clinic can issue one to access the subsidised outpatient specialist clinic pathway.
The most straightforward next step is to call the clinic directly to confirm current consultation hours, walk-in availability, and the fee schedule before your visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I wanted to share my recent experience at your clinic. While I understand and fully support the message that we should not abuse medical staff — whether they’re treating patients or handling counter duties — I felt the counter service was *undesirable*. We appreciate the hard work of the *professional staff* and the effort to maintain empathy and respect. However, as patients, we also expect the same courtesy from counter personnel. It’s disheartening when a few individuals fall short, as their behavior can tarnish the reputation that most staff have worked so hard to build. If you find it difficult to keep emotions in check, perhaps a different role would be a better fit. Not everyone is cut out for high‑pressure front‑desk work, and that’s okay. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future patients.
A very welcoming and friendly receptionist upon entering the clinic to do the registration. Doctor on duty was very well approachable and attended to my needs. Thank you to the staff and all for your kind and sincere dedication in this field 🙏
Dr Lim Teck Khai took the time to listen to all my concerns and explain treatment options clearly. The clinic is modern, clean, and runs on time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality care!"
Worst experience at iHealth Boon Keng Clinic. I was already very sick and was attended to by a young Chinese girl who looked like she was in her early 20s and completely unqualified for the job. She made me wait an extremely long time just to get my medicine and was absolutely useless when I asked questions about it, she couldn’t explain anything at all. She herself looked extremely anxious and unsure, and honestly did not seem capable of handling patients. How can someone like this be working in a clinic where sick people of all ages depend on staff to explain medications properly? Clinics are not places to put inexperienced youngsters who clearly cannot handle responsibility. Management seriously needs to rethink their hiring and training standards.
This is the most irresponsible clinic I’ve ever been to. Their operating hours are listed as 5pm–10pm. I came at 5pm to register, and during the registration process the receptionist did not mention that the waiting time would be unusually long. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, they only informed me that I still had to continue waiting. The worst part is that I was in pain the entire time while waiting. Hello? Is the doctor done with their “big business” or what? Making patients wait this long without any prior notice? Only informing after one and a half hours? Amazing. If you have a lot of spare time to waste, feel free to come and try this place.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit before add-ons. On top of the consultation fee, expect separate charges for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), rapid diagnostic tests, X-rays (S$80–150), and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For patients managing chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, and selected mental health conditions — MediSave can be used for outpatient costs up to S$700 per year at approved CDMP clinics. Confirm whether I-Health Medical Clinic Bendemeer participates in CDMP and whether it is on the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) panel, which provides subsidised GP visits for eligible Singapore Citizens. For any planned procedure or investigation, ask for a written cost breakdown that splits out-of-pocket, MediSave-claimable, and insurance-claimable portions before proceeding. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration appears in the provider data supplied to KakiList at the time of listing. Both are mandatory for a legitimate private GP clinic operating in Singapore. Every practising doctor must be registered on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, searchable by name; every clinic premises must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. This does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed — the information may simply not have been submitted to KakiList. Before your visit, search the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register and confirm the clinic's MOH licence directly with the clinic or via the MOH directory. Neither search takes more than a few minutes and both are publicly accessible without login. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than routine GP visits, though some plans include outpatient riders — check your policy terms with your insurer. For outpatient GP care, MediSave can be used under the CDMP for listed chronic conditions up to S$700 per year, and separately under the S$500 outpatient limit at approved clinics. Confirm whether the clinic is a CDMP-accredited provider before assuming MediSave applies. Patients on CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) can access subsidised GP consultations at CHAS-panel clinics — blue, orange, and green card tiers carry different subsidy quanta. Check the HealthHub app or the MOH CHAS directory to confirm whether I-Health Medical Clinic Bendemeer is a CHAS panel participant. For any referral to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC), a GP letter reduces the first-visit consultation fee for Singapore Citizens to the subsidised rate of roughly S$30–80 with a typical 4–12 week non-urgent wait, versus S$120–250 for a self-referred private specialist. Skipping the GP referral step where one is available is the most common reason patients pay more than necessary.
