It is worth asking whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and whether sessions are held at the Maxwell Road centre or offered online. Prospective students should also confirm term commitment terms, materials fees, and how progress is tracked.
To get started, reach out to IB Lounge via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm availability for your subject and level, ask about a trial class, and request a full breakdown of fees before committing to a package.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
The IB math lessons are relevant and helpful. With this help, my math paper grades went from a low 4 to a 6 within a year. The teacher is really patient, and as someone who learns slowly, she helped me develop more efficient learning skills. Strongly recommend this class 👍
I cannot recommend ib lounge enough, my son's Economics results improved dramatically after working with them. Darren is an excellent tutor, he is extremely engaging and helpful. My son achieved result of his desire, with barely 2mths of lessons prior to IB exams. Markus was extremely fast to respond to queries and was also a pleasure to work with. Thank you both for everything! All the best🩷Blessings🙏🏻
My daughter finds the math tutoring very helpful. The tutor provides well-organized, tailored content, along with extra practice opportunities. They also offer instant feedback and clear explanations, which greatly enhance her learning experience.
Firstly I believe it is not easy to find IB tuition as the syllabus is different from the conventional GCE O/A levels. My son happened to chance upon this tuition agency and found a v good tutor Andre, who has taught him Language Arts and has seen him through his last 4 years in Secondary school. In my opinion, he has done v well as this subject is not easy to begin with. I believe all the tutors are former IB students, hence they are v familiar with the syllabus. We also like the flexibility of the tuition arrangements where we could arrange the lessons with the tutor independently.
B lounge has been really helpful especially with their Biology lessons. The tutor is both engaging yet detailed when it comes to explaining the various chapters. The lessons do not only include the teaching of content from the textbook, but also challenging questions that are commonly found in tests. I'm extremely grateful for the passionate tutors and will highly recommend anyone who is struggling in Biology to try out IB lounge

IB Lounge's pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) level, but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. Test preparation and admissions tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$80–200 per session for one-to-one lessons, with group classes running lower on a per-session basis. Many providers offer term-based or monthly packages that work out more economically than booking session by session. Ask IB Lounge directly about trial class availability and whether a materials fee applies. Confirm whether the quoted rate covers a single subject or bundle, and clarify the cancellation and make-up class policy before committing. A trial class is a practical first step before signing up for a term at any tuition centre. It lets you assess whether the teaching style suits your child's learning approach, whether the level and pace are appropriate, and whether the tutor's familiarity with the specific syllabus — IB Diploma, IGCSE, A-Levels, or AP — is strong enough for your needs. Contact IB Lounge via WhatsApp or phone to ask about their trial class policy and whether a fee applies. During or after the trial, pay attention to how the tutor addresses gaps in understanding and whether the session feels targeted rather than generic. This is especially important for admissions preparation, where strategy and fit with the student's profile matter considerably.
IB Lounge's 4.8-out-of-5 rating across 46 Google reviews suggests that students have found the instruction effective, though this is a moderate sample. Specific tutor credentials — such as NIE or MOE teaching backgrounds, degrees, or years of syllabus-specific experience — are not publicly listed on their profile. When enquiring, ask which tutor would be assigned to your subject and level, whether that tutor has direct experience with the relevant examination board (IB, Cambridge, College Board), and whether they have a track record of students improving scores or gaining admission to target institutions. For IB Diploma in particular, subject-specialist knowledge at Higher Level is meaningfully different from general academic support.
