About Indian Confinement Services (Aunty Selvi)
Indian Confinement Services (Aunty Selvi) is a confinement food caterer operating islandwide from its premises at 10 Raeburn Park. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the provider holds a 4.9-star rating across 322 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent customer satisfaction. No ACRA registration or SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence has been confirmed in the listing data, so prospective customers are encouraged to verify these directly before placing an order.
Confinement food packages typically cover 28 days of twice-daily hot meal delivery — lunch and dinner — though shorter trial packages of 7 or 14 days are worth enquiring about before committing to the full programme. Given the provider's name and positioning, the culinary tradition is likely South Indian postnatal cooking, which has its own distinct set of warming ingredients, herbal preparations, and lactation-supporting dishes; confirm this, as well as whether the menu accommodates halal requirements, low-spice preferences for breastfeeding mothers, or the omission of specific ingredients. Ask whether herbal drinks and tonics are included in the package price or billed separately, and confirm the daily delivery window and packaging type — ideally BPA-free, microwave-safe containers delivered within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window.
To get started, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current package availability, request a trial meal, and confirm delivery coverage for your address before paying any deposit.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.

I had such a wonderful confinement experience with Auntie Miki, and I’m truly grateful for her care during this precious time. She is super nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable about what mummies can eat (for example, no chicken for the first two weeks after a tear) and also very experienced in handling babies, such as bathing and soothing them. She’s not shy to share this knowledge with my mum too, which we really appreciated. Her cooking is superb! I usually eat very little, but with her dishes, I found myself finishing every single grain of rice and drop of soup she made. Her portions are generous, and everything she prepared was both nutritious and delicious. On top of that, whenever we pointed out small areas to take note of such as cleaning, she was very receptive and adjusted right away, which made us feel comfortable and reassured. Whenever she sees me struggling with my baby, she takes the initiative to step in and help, while still encouraging me to learn. You can tell how much she loves babies, sometimes she can’t let go because she’s so caring and protective, especially since I’m still building confidence in handling my little one. My baby is not the easiest to manage, especially at night when she just can’t seem to sleep. Poor Auntie Miki would keep waking up every 1–2 hours to coax her back to rest. Despite this, she took initiative to communicate openly with us about the challenges of night duty and advocated for some afternoon rest once she had completed her morning tasks. We appreciated her honesty and were more than happy for her to have personal time, because it showed she is responsible and thoughtful about balancing her energy. Overall, I had a truly great confinement time with Auntie Miki. The 28 days flew by so quickly that I didn’t want it to end. I would definitely recommend her to other mummies looking for a kind, caring, and dedicated nanny.❤️
We had a great experience with Aunty confinement service. Our nanny, Maggie, was a huge help to our family. She provided excellent guidance during the early days with our newborn and helped her recover from mild jaundice through diligent feeding. She also went the extra mile and showed genuine effort and care in looking after the baby. Highly recommend their services for any new parents!
I had a great experience with aunty Mei Yan. I initially got her for 2 months but extended her service to 3.5 months. Not only was she tireless in taking care of my newborn, but she was also always cheery, calm and patient with him too. She took joy in witnessing his development and little quirks, and I felt assured that she was genuine in her care and love for babies! She adjusted her cooking to my preferences and always made the effort to experiment in her dishes too. She gave good advice, was knowledgeable and she supported me a lot with establishing breastfeeding, which was especially difficult in the initial few weeks when baby eats so often. I appreciate how steady and consistent she was throughout the few months she was with us! And thank you to the Aunty SG team as well. They had initially assigned another nanny for me from 38 weeks onwards, but upon informing them that I’d be delivering at 37 weeks, Jaslene was very swift in arranging for a new nanny, so it was an stress-free experience! She also checked in on me in the initial few weeks and was supportive. Thank you!
Unique nanny service where it offers interview opportunities with the nanny that was matched. Give us the confidence before the actual confinement period! We were matched with Aunty Lucy and during the interview, our vibes clicked so we went ahead with her. She was great with babies, responsible for night duties. She helped to wash the pumps and bottles and kept the house clean. With my first born, she interacted with her and even bought a gift for her on the first day! She also helped to cook simple dishes for her which was really a great help. Thank you aunty lucy!!

Package pricing is not published in the listing, so you will need to contact Indian Confinement Services (Aunty Selvi) directly for a current quote. In the Singapore market, 28-day confinement food packages typically run between S$1,200 and S$2,800, depending on the number of trays per day, the culinary tradition, and whether herbal soups and tonics are bundled in or charged separately. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options are sometimes available for mothers who want to trial the food before committing to the full programme. When you enquire, confirm the per-day tray count (typically two — lunch and dinner — or three if breakfast is added), whether herbal drinks such as red dates tea or longan tea are included, and whether there is a delivery surcharge for addresses outside the central region or in landed properties. Based on the provider's name and positioning, the culinary tradition is likely South Indian postnatal cooking, which centres on warming spices, nourishing lentil-based dishes, and ingredients traditionally associated with postpartum recovery and milk production. This is distinct from the Cantonese, Hokkien, or Teochew traditions that dominate much of the Singapore confinement food market, so it may be a particularly good fit for families seeking South Indian flavours — or for any mother open to exploring that tradition. Before paying a deposit, ask whether the menu rotates day-to-day or follows a weekly cycle, whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer lower spice levels, and whether a halal or vegetarian version is available. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day trial meal at roughly S$30–60 — this is strongly recommended, because confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste is the most reliable guide.
No SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence has been confirmed in the current listing data for Indian Confinement Services (Aunty Selvi). Before paying any deposit, ask the provider directly for the SFA licence number and hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. If the service is halal, a valid MUIS halal certificate should be present on the packaging and verifiable on the MUIS website. Confinement meals should be cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within roughly a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window. Confirm the daily delivery time slots, what packaging is used, and the substitute or refund policy in the event a delivery is missed or delayed. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade — and the MUIS halal certificate if that is relevant to your household — before paying the package deposit.
