About Indigo Education
Indigo Education is a test preparation and admissions tutoring provider based at 271 Bukit Timah Road, serving students islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the centre holds a 4.6/5 rating across 60 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$); specific session or package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.
Enquiring families should clarify which test or admissions pathway is relevant — whether that is PSLE, DSA, O-Level, A-Level, IB, SAT, ACT, UKCAT, or university admissions consulting — as the scope and teaching approach will vary considerably by target. It is worth confirming whether instruction is available in a group or one-to-one format, the typical class size, how closely the curriculum tracks your child's current school syllabus, and whether sessions are conducted in-person at the Bukit Timah Road centre or online. Ask about term commitment and cancellation terms before signing up, and request a trial class to assess level appropriateness and teaching style before committing to a package.
To take the next step, reach out to Indigo Education via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm current availability for your child's target exam, request a trial class, and obtain a full fee breakdown.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We had a great experience with Indigo Tuition. The trial class was very engaging and well-structured, which immediately captured my child’s interest. The teacher was very patient and encouraging, making the learning environment comfortable and enjoyable. The admin team was also very helpful and responsive, which made the whole process smooth and pleasant. Overall, a very positive first impression and we are happy with the experience.
Transparency on Refund Policy – Important for Parents to Note Sharing my factual experience with Indigo Education Centre @ Tampines for the awareness of other parents. Total amount paid: S$1,969.35 (inclusive of GST) Course enrolled: 15-lesson term Withdrawal timing: After the third lesson Refund outcome: Amount refunded: S$100 (deposit only) Amount withheld: S$1,869.35 The centre declined to offer any pro-rated refund for the unused lessons, citing the non-refundable clause in the contract. The only alternatives provided were a Credit Note or a Change of Subject, which require the funds to remain with the centre. I acknowledge that I overlooked this clause at the point of registration. I am sharing this for transparency, so parents can fully understand the financial implications should circumstances change shortly after enrolment.
We've had a great experience working with the Indigo team to enroll my daughter in the JC2 Chemistry program. After a trial lesson at Parkway Parade, she’s really looking forward to joining the December sessions. Thanks for making the process so smooth!
My son joined Indigo in the last term of Sec 2. He needed some enhancements for both his english and science in order to get himself qualified for HCI talent programme. In just 3 months, his grade improved significantly, from B4 to A2 for english and A2 to a solid high A1 for Science. The credit goes to Indigo. I personally found the teaching materials well structured and coupled with enough questions for exercise. The teacher is experienced and very reliable. The admin staff responded effectively and efficiently. They also send weekly summary of the contents taught in the class, assuring parents that the students are well taken care. Strongly recommend it!

Indigo Education does not publish specific session rates on its listing, and fees are likely to vary by test type, format (group vs one-to-one), and level. As a general reference, test preparation tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$60–150 per session for group classes and S$100–300 per session for one-to-one coaching, with some providers offering term or package bundles at a discount. When enquiring, ask for a full breakdown: per-session rate or monthly package cost, trial class fee, any materials or registration charge, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Get the fee structure in writing before committing. See the full test prep and admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many test preparation providers in Singapore offer a trial class — either at a reduced fee or folded into the first session cost — so it is reasonable to ask Indigo Education whether this option is available before signing up for a full term or package. A trial session is useful for assessing three things: whether the content level matches your child's current standing, whether the teaching style keeps your child engaged, and whether the pace suits the timeline to the target exam. Come prepared with a recent test paper or school result to help the tutor gauge the starting point accurately. If a formal trial is not offered, ask to observe a group session or request a short diagnostic assessment before committing.
Indigo Education's listing does not specify individual tutor qualifications. For test preparation and admissions coaching, relevant credentials to ask about include prior MOE or NIE teaching experience, a degree in a relevant subject discipline, and demonstrable familiarity with the specific exam syllabus — whether that is the MOE PSLE and O-Level frameworks, the IB curriculum, or international admissions tests such as the SAT or ACT. For admissions consulting specifically, ask whether staff have direct experience with university application processes at the relevant institutions and whether they have a track record of placements in the programmes your child is targeting. If this information is not readily available on the centre's website, ask directly before booking.
