Interior Times is a verified home services provider in Singapore specialising in Renovation. Services offered include Renovation Services. They provide islandwide coverage across Singapore. Rated 3.3/5 based on 41 Google reviews.
The bulk of Interior Times's bookings cover Renovation Services. Because this is a focused home services operation, most jobs are scoped over WhatsApp first — photos of the issue, property type, and preferred slot — before a price is quoted.
Interior Times covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give Interior Times an average of 3.3/5 across 41 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a home services provider.
For a realistic quote from Interior Times, send a brief description of the work on WhatsApp — include your area, property type, and when you'd like the job done. Because KakiList doesn't sit between you and the provider, quotes tend to come back quickly and without boilerplate upselling.
Calling them a scam company is too kind to them. They basically throw your project responsibilities back to you and the contractors. They only co ordinate your payment, after that good luck. They chill and relax le. ID throughout project can come only once. That should paint a story already. You have to update your ID on the progress of ur house, not They update you. Why need to update them? Cause they overcharge everything and you need to tell them their contractors didn't do etc. I could write an encyopedia on how they screwed up. Just save yourself money and disappointment and run. If deposit given le, run faster, you will still save more money.
Thanks to my ID, Reeve for turning our ideas into drawing, to layout, and lastly to our dream house! It is not easy to have reliable contractors and carpenters that work closely with the ID, and deliver their very best artwork to customers. We were so glad to have the best team to work on our renovation! Besides, it was indeed a super tight schedule, but Reeve made his promises by assuring the renovation completed within the required timeframe. Thanks to him again!
Thank you Liz and Pat for a good job well done. I was going through a few ID films at tradehub and saw Interior Times. I was served by Pat, who then introduced Liz as his working partner, they worked as a team. They went through their design for us and we are quite happy with it. Being quite picky, I went through a few rounds of IDs before selecting them. Reason being, they are very accommodating to our needs and requests, I still remember they were overseas when I have a few questions on the quotation and they literally worked overseas and passed me the quote over midnight even though I have yet to select them. I felt their sincerity even though i do not have a very big budget for them. During the process, there were some delays due to year end and I do understand but they still tried their best to deliver. Very appreciative of it. They were very responsive to me and my wife which is something I like about them. Overall the process is a smooth and comfortable one. I will definitely recommend them to my friends in the future.
It's my first time to do renovation and I had my share of worries of finding a rotten ID. But Jason, the ID, did a good job, if not fantastic! He patiently explained a lot about renovation to me and managed my expectations very well. He also accepted changes that I brought up. There were hiccups along the way but the end result was simply amazing!
This is a follow up review from the previous post as the review is too long. Poor project management skills 1)We found ourselves constantly having to chase the company to complete their work and even had to provide our own timeline to ensure project completion. This became necessary because our interior designer promised us that the renovation could be completed in 2 months, but the project does not seem to be progressing at all. 2)The ID provided incorrect calculations for the number of knobs and handles needed for our cabinets, leading to further delays and monetary loss as we had to reorder the items on our own. 3)Progress on much of the work stalled due to a lack of onsite monitoring. We were left to frequently physically check the site and question the company about the next steps. Additionally, the planning from the interior designer lacked coherence. For instance, we had planned to remove our kitchen door and hack part of a wall to create a semi-open kitchen (as depicted correctly in the rendering). However, the interior designer suggested keeping the door frame intact and eventually charged us extra for having it removed (refer to photo). 4)We still haven't received a handover from the company, leaving us with unresolved issues and concerns. When we asked if there would be a formal onsite handover, the interior designer said that they do not have that practice. We found this to be strange, as one would expect an interior designer to want to see how their project turned out and to check the quality of the work. 5)The delay in completion forced us to rent alternative accommodation at additional expense. 6)We suspect that one of the sales tactics employed by the interior designer is to withhold certain necessary work from the initial quotation. After signing the contract, we found ourselves at their mercy. For example, we were issued a variation order requiring payment for the restoration of existing master bathroom wall and floor tiles. If there were to be additional work that required payment, shouldn’t consent be sought from the owners before proceeding with the work? No photos or consultation with us, the owners, were sought before the work was carried out, and yet we were billed for it 7)We have strong doubts about the experience and credibility of our ID. Prior to beginning our renovation, we planned to remove all tiles and rebuild the water piping in the bathrooms, given that the unit is an old one. However, our interior designer advised against it, suggesting that overlaying of the tiles would suffice since internal water piping is typically unaffected and remains in good condition despite its age. Following their recommendation, we paid our deposit and entrusted Interior Times with our entire bathroom renovation. However, when a leak was detected, the interior designer simply dismissed our concerns, claiming they were not responsible because they did not change the piping. They asserted that the hacking of the tiles and all other sanitary furnishings and drilling couldn’t have caused the leak. Via the WhatsApp group chat, they kept telling us to stop using the bathroom and observe the meter, despite us informing them that the meter still continued to jump even when we were not staying in the house for 3 full days. Finally, after numerous messages to them, they sent a plumber who only turned off the water supply to the common bathroom. Following this, our interior designer concluded that the fault did not lie with them. There was no attempt to remediate the situation, and our interior designer suggested we proceed with CASE complaints and file a small tribunal claim. We strongly advise others to avoid this company if they wish to spare themselves the trauma and drama that our family endured. Even amidst the ongoing dispute, neither our interior designer has made a single trip to check on the situation or initiated a single call to us, demonstrating a lack of commitment.
