About International Dental Centre

About International Dental Centre

International Dental Centre is a dental practice located at 6 Gemmill Lane in the Tanjong Pagar conservation district, serving patients islandwide. It is KakiList-verified, with a 4.5-out-of-5 rating across 48 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$), though specific fees were not available at the time of listing.

Patients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the dentist assesses presenting concerns — whether routine scaling and polishing, fillings, crowns, orthodontics, implants, or pain management — and outlines a proposed treatment plan with associated costs before any procedure begins. It is worth confirming in advance whether the practice accepts corporate dental benefits or Medisave for eligible procedures such as oral surgery, as this affects out-of-pocket costs. The clinic can be contacted via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check appointment availability and whether a particular specialist or treatment is offered.

To get started, reach out via WhatsApp or phone to book an initial consultation, describe your presenting concern, and ask for a written fee estimate before the appointment so there are no surprises on the day.

In addition to being an excellent dentist, Dr Marlar Tun is the consummate professional. In an effort to ease the patient’s anxiety, Dr Tun ensures that she takes the time to explain every step during the procedure. After the treatment, she will also patiently summarise what’s been done and the follow-up actions needed. The rest of the staff, including the other dentists, are extremely professional and very customer-centric, making each of my visits to the clinic an absolute pleasure.

I had a few great experiences with Dr. Kavvner. He was very gentle and patient, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the treatment. I really appreciated how he explained everything clearly before starting, and managed my expectations well throughout the session. The whole process was smooth, highly recommend!

Dr Tun has been Prestigious in the Myanmar community of Singapore because of her altruism, kindness, and professionalism. Though I am aware that a teeth health check-up should be done annually, I missed out due to my hectic schedule. However, I suffered from teeth tingling and gum swelling for a few days. I noticed that my last visit to the dentist was a few years ago. Inevitably, I received excellent service at a very reasonable price, with a touch of goodwill. As a part-time student, I am so grateful for her generous discount, which makes it affordable, and her help, which makes the world to me 🌸🌷🙇‍♀️. Because of Dr. Tun's full schedule, another doctor, Dr Low, cured me. Through his flexibility and kind manner, I am pretty relieved, and he provided encouraging words during the uncomfortable treatment. What a surprise! He can communicate with essential medical vocabularies in Myanmar during treatment. Thanks millions, Dr Low ☘️🪷🙏. Last, but not least, Soe is very soft and patient while educating me on how to brush my teeth systematically. I will always remember this 🪴✔️🙏. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have had to deal with my gum problem like this. This insightful habit from this sharing will lead me to take better care of my teeth and develop a confident smile. In fact, this dental center gives me the vibe of more than a clinic.

Dr. Marlar Tun is very gentle, kind, and skillful. The staff were also warm. I was scared at first because my bottom wisdom tooth was cut and removed in a difficult way. But thanks to Dr's gentle care, I trusted the process and felt more relaxed. Both top and bottom wisdom teeth were removed in about 1 hour. Dr. gave me a generous discount, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much to Dr. Marlar Tun and the team!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does International Dental Centre charge per session?

International Dental Centre is positioned in the mid-range ($$), but specific fee schedules were not available at the time of listing. As a reference, Singapore dental fees typically run: consultation S$30–80, scaling and polishing S$80–150, fillings S$80–250 depending on material and size, crowns S$1,200–2,500, and implants S$3,500–6,000+ per tooth. A first-time consultation fee may be charged separately from any procedure carried out on the same visit. Confirm the full fee for your intended treatment in writing before proceeding, including whether GST is included in the quoted price. Medisave can be used for certain oral surgery procedures at MOH-accredited clinics — ask the front desk whether this applies to your treatment. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No GP referral is required for a routine dental consultation at International Dental Centre. Most patients book directly and the dentist performs a clinical assessment — including X-rays where indicated — at the first visit. You should bring any recent dental records or X-rays if you are transferring from another clinic, as this avoids duplicate imaging costs. For more complex treatments such as orthodontics, implants, or oral surgery, the dentist may refer you to an in-house specialist or an external specialist clinic. If you intend to claim dental benefits through your employer's corporate plan or your insurer, check the pre-authorisation requirements before the appointment, as some plans require prior approval for treatment costs above a certain threshold.

Is the practitioner at International Dental Centre licensed?

All practising dentists in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify any dentist's registration — and confirm their listed specialisation, if any — on the SDC's public register at hprof.gov.sg before your appointment. Dental clinics must also hold a premises licence from the Ministry of Health. No regulatory licences were listed for International Dental Centre in the current KakiList data. This does not necessarily mean the practitioners are unlicensed — SDC registration is held by individuals, not clinics, and may not have been captured at listing time. Ask the clinic to confirm the consulting dentist's full name and SDC registration number so you can verify it directly on the public register before treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
