About International School of Performing Arts (ISPA)

About International School of Performing Arts (ISPA)

International School of Performing Arts (ISPA) is an education provider specialising in performing arts holiday camps, based at The Adelphi on Coleman Street and serving families islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. ISPA holds a 4.6/5 rating across 27 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent satisfaction, though parents are encouraged to weigh it alongside their own enquiries.

Families typically begin by contacting ISPA via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check which holiday camp programmes are currently open for enrolment. Key questions to clarify upfront include the age range and level of experience the camp is designed for, whether sessions are grouped by ability or mixed, the duration and schedule (full-day versus half-day), and what disciplines are covered — whether drama, musical theatre, dance, or a combination. It is worth confirming whether a trial or taster session is offered before committing to a full camp block, what the materials or costume fee (if any) covers, and the cancellation and refund policy should your child be unwell.

To secure a place, reach out to ISPA directly through WhatsApp or the enquiry form to confirm the next available camp intake, check for any remaining vacancies, and ask about the booking deposit and payment terms before reserving a spot.

Did a short course to prepare for an exam. Agnieszka is the best teacher! The staff and admin are so friendly and helpful, and always responsive to inquiries.

The best school in Singapore! Michela is very accommodating, any request or problem solve fast and convenient for both sides. Highly recommend my teacher Patrizia! The best teacher Ive ever had! I’ve been studying from beginner level with Patrizia for 7 months and then passed the CILS B1 Cittadinanza exam! Highly recommend APICS!

I've been taking Italian classes at APICS for 3 years now and love it! Great teachers and a really wonderful community. They offer all levels, online and in-person, and host a bunch of fun cultural events. So thankful to have stumbled upon it.

I was a student in APICS for 2 years starting from Beginner level to Intermediate. It was a great journey; I made new friends and learnt Italian grammars - including speaking and writing. My teacher, Patrizia was an amazing and approachable teacher. Classrooms are conducive and there are also cooking classes if you wish to learn how to cook Italian dishes. Highly recommended for those who want to learn Italian at any level!

Very disappointed with the communication from whoever is managing the enquiries. I've sent numerous messages on WhatsApp and email, but no one has bothered to respond. The phone number they provide doesn't work, and WhatsApp calls are ignored. I was a student here in 2020-2021 and had a great experience with the teachers and centre. Unfortunately my recent experience suggests a lack of concern for addressing the needs and concerns of a former student.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does International School of Performing Arts (ISPA) charge per session?

ISPA's pricing is listed at the '$$' band, indicating a mid-range position for performing arts holiday camps in Singapore. Holiday camp fees are typically structured as a block — covering the full camp duration rather than charged per individual session — so it is worth confirming the total programme fee, what that includes (instruction, materials, any costume or production elements), and whether a sibling or early-bird discount applies. A refundable deposit is commonly required to secure a place, with the balance due closer to the camp start date. Clarify the cancellation and refund policy before paying, particularly for holiday periods when demand is high. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Performing arts holiday camps at ISPA are generally run as self-contained blocks, so a standalone trial class in the traditional sense may not always be available. It is worth asking ISPA directly whether they offer a taster session, an open day, or the option to observe a camp day before enrolment. When assessing fit, consider whether the camp's level matches your child's prior experience (beginner versus some exposure to performance), how the instructor manages mixed-ability groups, and whether the programme's pace and creative approach suit your child's learning style. Contacting ISPA ahead of the camp period gives you the best chance of getting a clear picture before committing.

What are the instructors' credentials at International School of Performing Arts (ISPA)?

Performing arts educators typically hold diplomas or degrees in drama, music theatre, dance, or a related discipline, and may carry certifications from bodies such as Trinity College London, LAMDA, or RADA. Whether ISPA's instructors hold specific accreditations is not confirmed in publicly available information at the time of this listing. Parents are advised to ask ISPA directly about the teaching team's background — including their performance or teaching experience, any relevant qualifications, and how instructors are matched to different age groups or disciplines. This is especially relevant if your child has a specific focus area, such as musical theatre or physical theatre.
