About Island Family Clinic Anchorvale
Island Family Clinic Anchorvale is a general practice clinic located at 338 Anchorvale Crescent, #01-02, in the Sengkang area. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 3.9/5 rating across 52 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council registration details have been supplied to KakiList at this time, so prospective patients should verify these directly with the clinic or on the respective public registers before booking.
For most visits, patients can contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to check waiting times or confirm opening hours before making their way in. As a general practice, the clinic would typically handle acute illnesses, minor injuries, chronic disease follow-up, vaccinations, and referrals to specialist outpatient clinics where further investigation is needed. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans or who wish to use MediSave under the Chronic Disease Management Programme should confirm subsidy eligibility and payment options with the clinic directly, as these depend on the attending doctor's CDMP registration status and the clinic's CHAS and MediSave enrolment.
To make an appointment or check same-day slot availability, contact Island Family Clinic Anchorvale by phone or through the online enquiry form listed on this page. Listing data is incomplete — contact Island Family Clinic Anchorvale directly to confirm details.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Had a very bad experience with the receptionist via the phone. I called asking regarding the flu vaccine and wanted to know if it is the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. The receptionist does not bother to check and just say "I don't know" and she just keep saying "I think its the latest". I have to prompt her to ask the doctor which she seems very unwilling to do so. There are many better clinic with better receptionist. I will not bother to visit this clinic at all cos i am sure the experience would not be good with these type of receptionist attending to you.
Called and check for their operating hours. The receptionist picked up the phone and mmm... I was like, did I call the wrong number? I repeated hello and again she mmm. So unprofessional! Decided to go to another clinic instead
Doc bong is very professional & fast but replacement doc very slow and that's why always long Q & for receptionist unprofessional, very rude, make faces & no eye contact when patient talking!
I can't agree with all the good reviews here. Unfortunately, I find Dr. Bong rather unprofessional and irresponsible. She appeared quite sick and coughing when I went in for consultation. I have a weak immune system and fall sick very easily. This is the second day after I visited the clinic and i have developed a very bad sore throat.
This is our preferred clinic, especially for our kids. We primarily see Doctor Bong, but we have also consulted with Doctor Lim and Doctor Mike on a few occasions. The doctors have consistently shown a caring and attentive approach, which we appreciate. The registration and medication collection process at the clinic has always been smooth and hassle-free. Moreover, we believe this clinic is truly a gem for the residents in our area. Its presence provides convenience and reliable medical care to the community, making it an invaluable resource. We are grateful to have such a clinic nearby that consistently delivers excellent service.

GP consultations at private family clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations, medications, and any procedures. Patients holding a CHAS Blue, Orange, or Merdeka card may be entitled to subsidised consultation fees if the clinic is a CHAS-enrolled provider — confirm this with the clinic before your visit. Common add-on costs include blood panels (S$60–200), X-rays (S$80–150), vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose), and prescription medications. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, request an itemised cost estimate upfront so you can plan your MediSave, insurance, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — you can search by name at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration details have been provided to KakiList for this listing. Prospective patients should verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the attending doctor's SMC entry directly before booking. Neither alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed.
MediSave can be used at CHAS-enrolled and MediSave-accredited GP clinics under the outpatient withdrawal limit of S$500 per year, rising to S$700 per year for consultations under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-registered for your specific condition before assuming MediSave applies. Integrated Shield Plans generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP visits, though some riders include outpatient benefits — check your plan's terms. For any planned procedure or referral leading to day surgery, request pre-authorisation from your insurer and a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
