Families typically begin by submitting an enquiry form to discuss the student's current level, target examination or admissions goal, and preferred schedule. IvyPrep Singapore covers test preparation and admissions coaching, so it is worth confirming which specific assessments or applications the programme addresses — whether SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, UK university admissions, or local competitive school entry — and how the curriculum is aligned to the relevant syllabus. Prospective students should ask about group versus one-to-one formats, session frequency, term commitment length, and whether classes are conducted in person at Purvis Street or have an online option.
To take the next step, submit an enquiry through the contact form on the listing to discuss your child's target examination, confirm current availability, and arrange a trial class before committing to a package.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I am a parent of 2 boys, both of whom were assisted by IvyPrep in their university applications process. The university applications process has become increasingly high-pressure and competitive. IvyPrep's in-depth knowledge and experience, access to expertise, structured process and encouraging and supportive counselors, helped my sons to navigate their university applications with confidence. The approach was customised and personal to each individual candidate. My sons were reluctant to present themselves in a way that did not feel authentic - the IvyPrep counselors worked with them to highlight their individual strengths and goals, so as to present themselves in the best possible light, while keeping their applications genuine and sincere. We would highly recommend IvyPrep to anyone going through the university applications process.
IvyPrep has gone above and beyond in helping me with my application, including helping me with my personal statement, academic CV and emailing professors for research opportunities. Most importantly, they taught me to do all these things in a genuine way. IvyPrep provided a structured and supportive environment for me to understand my own strengths and goals, helping me to present them to Universities in a way that was true to myself, and also in the best possible light. Ultimately, IvyPrep helped me to feel more in control of my application process, leading me to be accepted to my top choice of course and University.
Ivy Prep didn't work for me at all. I tried tutoring with them for 5 months on the SAT and it increased by score by 10 points. I then switched tutors and jumped 100 points on my next SAT. Tutoring is definitely not personalised, lacks structure, and is unnecessary for success. Also, they are very devious with the signing you up for programs that they say are non-binding, but suddenly are binding when you try to pull out of them. I ended up getting into an Ivy League school, and I think the only reason I did was because I discontinued everything with Ivy Prep.
We interviewed with many college counsellor agencies and IvyPrep was by far the most welcoming and accommodating. Not just in the initial stages but throughout the whole process they planned out every aspect of the 2 year journey and simplified the overwhelming amount of tasks that comes with applying to the US. They are super organized and kept me on the right track, importantly with the right mindset to stay true to myself and what I value/want to show to admission officers- not just what the quota or criteria deems is perfect.
Ivyprep has been fantastic with friendly and very helping staff + service. Helped me alot with landing my university destinations (US Universities) and I heavily reccommend to anyone thinking of using essay vetting service from IvyPrep. PS. Khush (whom i was designated to) has been friendly, understanding and outstandingly intellectual. I heavily recommend him! Good job IvyPrep and Thank you

IvyPrep Singapore displays a mid-range pricing tier, but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. In the Singapore test preparation market, one-to-one coaching typically runs S$80–200 per hour depending on the tutor's background and the examination targeted, while group classes are generally more affordable on a per-session basis. Many test preparation providers in Singapore offer a trial class — either at a reduced fee or included as part of an initial assessment — to help students and parents gauge fit before enrolling in a full term or package. Use the trial to assess whether the teaching pace suits your child's current level, whether the syllabus coverage matches the target examination, and whether the teaching style encourages active engagement rather than passive note-taking. Contact IvyPrep Singapore directly via the enquiry form to ask about their trial class policy, what the session covers, and how placement decisions are made for students at different preparation stages.
Specific tutor credentials for IvyPrep Singapore are not listed in the publicly available information. For test preparation and admissions coaching, relevant indicators include undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from the universities whose admissions processes are being coached, prior high scores on the target examinations (SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, or equivalent), and experience with the specific syllabus — whether MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP. When enquiring, ask which tutor would be assigned to your child, their academic background, how many years they have been teaching this specific examination, and whether the programme is updated to reflect the current exam format. Confirming this directly before committing to a term is advisable.
