I was there for three month during my stay in Singapore. At the beginning, I went once a week, but Gerard Lim encouraged me to come more often because it would help me improve. He was right. In the end, I trained four times a week, and both my strength and technique improved dramatically. He also motivated me to take part in my very first competition and guided me through the whole journey. But JagSport is more than excellent training, it is family. During those three month, I felt truly welcomed and included from the very first day. Everyone supported one another, no matter the level, and progress was celebrated together. Training there never felt lonely, and the strong sense of unity made it easy to feel at home, even far away from my own country. The training at JagSport is both demanding and well structured. Each session is clearly planned and has a strong focus on technique and continuous improvement. Coaches give precise and constructive feedback, challenge athletes and at the same time make sure that training stays safe and sustainable. This mix of professionalism and genuine care creates an environment where real and lasting progress can happen. JagSport made my stay in Singapore one of the best experiences i ever had. I look forward to come back to Singapore as soon as possible and JagSport and the amazing people are the reason why.

JagSport is not One place or One person. Every person , from the tiny to the mighty matter here. A place where you can be unapologetically yourself . Their strength is their ease of flow. Each person does their job in the best possible way , not out of fear , but the feeling of wanting to , for their tribe and , it all works , like a well oiled machine .The flow is seamless, of-course ,everything transpires under the watchful eyes of their Master who keeps his tribe as a bundle. Their key to success is their togetherness.Success and medals are just a consequence of what they are .What the judokas’ look forward to ,is the learning itself . If judo is your calling , JagSport is the place!

This is a great club, where I got my first taste of Judo. I have fond memories of training here, despite it only being for a brief period of time. The thing that stands out the most even after all these years is the grace and patience of principal instructor Gerard in welcoming and accommodating a clumsy, out of shape man trying to pick up a new sport. Shout out to assistant coach Aryan as well, he made trainings fun and I learned a lot from him. I would highly recommend this club to anyone interested in giving Judo a try.

This is a terrible judo club. The "sir" has blatant favouritism, once he starts heting you, he will continue to pick on you. Judo is all about self-discipline but looks like he lacks in that field. The rest of the instructors are the same, they form a clique on their own and starts to bully those they do not like. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB

As a visitor from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I was made very welcome by the club coach and Judoka :) the coaching was of a high standard and a new Tatami the evening I arrived. If you enjoy your judo and visiting Singapore then this is the club to visit *****

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Jagsport charge per session?

Jagsport's specific session fees are not publicly listed, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. In the Singapore market, sports and swimming school fees typically range from S$30–60 per group session and S$80–150 or more for one-to-one coaching, depending on the sport, class size, and instructor level. Some providers charge a monthly or term fee rather than a per-session rate, which can offer better value for regular attendance. Ask whether there is a registration or enrolment fee, whether materials or equipment are included, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. A trial class fee, if applicable, is usually lower than the standard rate. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many sports and swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial session before asking families to commit to a term or monthly package. It is worth confirming with Jagsport directly whether a trial class is available, whether there is a separate fee for it, and whether the trial fee is credited towards enrolment if you proceed. During the trial, observe how the coach engages with children at different ability levels, whether the class size allows for adequate individual attention, and whether the pace and structure suit your child's current level. A trial is the most reliable way to assess fit before signing up for a longer commitment.

What are the coaches' credentials at Jagsport?

Jagsport's specific coaching credentials are not listed in publicly available information, so it is advisable to ask directly. Relevant qualifications to enquire about include national or international coaching certifications for the specific sport (for example, Singapore Swimming Association accreditation for swimming instructors, or equivalent national sports association certificates for other disciplines), years of coaching experience, and any background in working with children of different age groups and abilities. If your child has specific developmental needs or is at a competitive level, it is worth asking whether any coaches have experience in those areas. Confirm credentials before committing to a term.
