Parents and students considering Jansenites Sports Academy should begin by enquiring about the appropriate level and programme fit — whether that is learn-to-swim, stroke refinement, competitive development, or another sports discipline. It is worth clarifying whether classes are conducted in groups or on a one-to-one basis, the term commitment required, and whether a trial session is available before signing up for a full programme. The academy operates islandwide, so confirming the most convenient training venue or pool location relative to your home or school is a practical first step. Ask about the coach's qualifications, years of experience, and alignment with any relevant national syllabus or certification framework.
To get started, use the enquiry form on the listing to ask about current programme availability, session frequency, and fees, and to request a trial class before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I love visiting this Club that has so much history and it is so well maintained. The reception projects a friendly and jovial attitude and as a guest, I feel warmly welcomed. It is situated at the Padang and I had so much fun taking great photos of the National Art Gallery as well as the CBD skyscrapers. Food at the restaurant easily beats any restaurant in Singapore. Chicken rice and satay were super tasty!! Just loved the vibes there.
We had dinner at the club's member only restaurant. This is a English style formal restaurant with dress code...shirt, dress shoes...The setting was great, with views of the cricket field, business district high rises, national gallery. The food was good. My lamb order was less than satisfactory, it had too much fat.
Nice place for events. Easy to go and nice view in the evening. Near to any landmarks such as Fullerton. The bar is great and bartender know what to do.
if you are into cool cozy club with a snooker table that's what it is ! the place to be numerous restaurants, bars, places to hang around , large enough for any occasion
We had the pleasure of dining at The Padang Restaurant at the Singapore Cricket Club for a company lunch with our big boss, and it was a delightful experience. The lunch set menu offered a well-curated selection of dishes, catering to different preferences, with portions that were generous and satisfying. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation reflected the elegance of the venue. The ambiance of the restaurant was fitting for a business lunch, offering a blend of sophistication and comfort that enhanced our overall experience. The service was attentive, ensuring that our group was well taken care of throughout the meal. It was a wonderful time for the team, and The Padang Restaurant provided the perfect setting for meaningful conversations over great food.

Jansenites Sports Academy is priced at the S$$ tier, but specific per-session or package fees are not publicly listed. Sports and swimming schools in Singapore typically charge S$30–80 per group session and S$80–150 or more for one-to-one coaching, depending on the discipline, pool or venue hire, and coach level. Some providers bundle fees into monthly or term packages rather than charging per session, which can affect the apparent cost. Ask about registration or enrolment fees, whether there are materials or equipment charges, and whether sibling or multi-programme discounts apply. Many sports and swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial session, sometimes at a reduced fee, before parents commit to a term or package. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess whether the coach's teaching style suits your child, whether the group size allows sufficient individual attention, and whether the programme level is appropriate. When observing a trial, look at how the coach manages the group, how feedback is given, and whether your child is engaged and progressing. Ask directly whether a trial is available and what it costs, as policies vary by provider. If a trial is not offered, ask to observe a live session before signing up.
Coaching credentials in Singapore sports and swimming schools vary widely. For swimming, look for qualifications such as those issued by the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) or internationally recognised certifications such as from SwimAustralia or the American Red Cross. For other sports disciplines, national coaching accreditation from Sport Singapore or the relevant national sports association is a reasonable benchmark. Specific coach qualifications for Jansenites Sports Academy are not listed in the available data. It is advisable to ask directly about the lead coach's background, years of coaching experience, and whether coaches hold current first-aid certification — particularly relevant for water-based programmes.
