JSSL Singapore FC is an excellent football club with a great environment for young players to learn, grow, and develop their skills. The coaching team is professional, passionate, and very supportive — they focus not only on football techniques, but also on discipline, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. Training sessions are well organised and structured, with clear guidance and good progression for different levels. The facilities are well maintained, and the overall setup feels safe, positive, and welcoming for both players and parents. You can really see the effort put into developing each player step-by-step, which makes a big difference in improvement over time. What I also appreciate is the strong football culture here — it feels like a real community with good energy, encouragement, and motivation. Overall, JSSL Singapore FC is a top choice for youth football development. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality coaching and a great football experience in Singapore!

There is no consistency between weeks for the U10 boys. The only real coach, Coach Allan, was replaced because of just one parent. After 2 years I can safely say my boy has regressed. There is no transparency on why some boys play elite or the leagues. There is no move towards progressing the boys. They just turn up, get put through drills and randomly assigned with boys which for some reason that is not of JSSL doing, know each other. So there is familiarity for some but then for most of the boys the coaches just talk a lot expecting the boys to get it, but come the next week, these boys may not be paired with the same coach or boys. There is no discipline being enforced during match time. It is a free for all. Only the ones who are really good know how to manage such a messy situation. For parents who know the game and how it should be played. It is heartbreaking and such a waste of the boys and parents time.

My son joined JSSL since early last year, since then he had join the league but the team training and competing is different. Resulting in every match lost and trashing. He didn't give up and continue this year and was chosen to play for JSSL 7s last week. After only 1 training session, they were put against 8 teams who had been formed and training over months or years in the past 3 days. Obviously losing every game and even thrashing15-0. Tats surely not the way to make money JSSL, its not once or twice u guys have been doing this. Is setting up this academy purely for profit? Is the moral of these kids even a concern to u? Is your reputation even important to u? Just look at where u guy stand on the table for every division u r playing. Its totally unacceptable! I feel bad for all the kids playing in your academy and league. I hope everyone will know your interest in this academy

Good setup here. Decent coaching and a lot of boys to train with. The facilities are good for parents ie cover from the sun and also cafe. So whilst the kids play you can relax. Parking during peak hours is a bit tough but you can park on the roadside

Did improve a bit but either I am just trash or the coaches are not experienced enough. Most likely it’s a skill issue for me. Nice location though 👍👏

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does JSSL Singapore charge per session?

Holiday camp fees are typically structured as a block rather than a per-session rate, covering a set number of days within a school holiday period. Pricing will depend on the programme type, duration, and your child's age group. It is advisable to ask whether a deposit is required to secure a place, whether materials or equipment are included, and whether any sibling or early-bird discounts apply. Confirm the full amount due — including any one-off registration fee — in writing before payment. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Some holiday camp providers offer a single-day taster option or a trial session before you commit to a full camp block. It is worth asking JSSL Singapore directly whether this is available, as trial arrangements vary by programme and season. When assessing fit, consider whether the content matches your child's current level, whether the group size feels appropriate, and whether the coaching style keeps participants engaged. A single session is often enough to judge whether a full camp commitment makes sense.

What are the coaches' credentials at JSSL Singapore?

Relevant credentials for holiday camp coaches typically include sports coaching certifications, relevant degree backgrounds, and years of experience working with children in structured programme settings. Syllabus or curriculum alignment may also be relevant depending on whether the camp has an academic or skills-based component. If this information is not published on the JSSL Singapore website or listing, it is reasonable to ask directly before enrolment — particularly the coach-to-participant ratio and any safeguarding or first-aid qualifications held by on-site staff.
