About K9 Academy

About K9 Academy

K9 Academy is a pet training provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified, ACRA-registered business. It is based at Gallop Kranji Farm Resort, 10 Neo Tiew Lane 2. The provider holds a 4.7-star rating on Google across 12 reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional rather than conclusive.

When getting started with K9 Academy, it helps to have your pet's details ready before reaching out — including breed, size, age, and temperament, as these factors typically influence which training programme is most suitable. Vaccination records are usually required prior to any sessions, so gather those in advance. You can contact K9 Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss your dog's specific needs, whether that involves basic obedience, behavioural correction, or more structured training, and to ask about session format, frequency, and whether a trial or assessment visit is available before committing to a programme.

The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp or phone to describe your pet's breed, age, and current behaviour, and to ask about available training programmes and scheduling at the Kranji Farm Resort location.

Awesome and very experience trainers. Joe is able to identify the issue ... Sometimes it's not the furkid but the pawrent. We had our furkid undergo Board and train with Joe and HB. Not only we had fun our furkid had successfully graduated and now our bond with our furkid is so strong and listens to our commands. Kudos to Joe and HB. Thank you for your patience with us and not giving up on us. Thank you

Joe doesn't teach just theory , Joe teaches facts and shows us how to apply what we learn in the real world. Loads of experience , and really knows how to fix any problem. If you are looking for the Steve Irwin of dogs, Joe Klass will be your go to trainer

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does K9 Academy charge?

K9 Academy's pricing is not publicly listed, so you will need to enquire directly for a quote. For pet training in Singapore, costs typically vary based on the type of programme — group obedience classes tend to be more affordable, while private one-to-one sessions or specialised behavioural training carry a higher per-session rate. Additional charges may apply for assessments or extended programmes. When requesting a quote, ask whether the fee covers a fixed number of sessions, what happens if a session is missed, and whether any follow-up support is included. What vaccinations does K9 Academy require?

For dogs attending training sessions or group classes, providers in Singapore typically require proof of up-to-date DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required, particularly where dogs will be in close contact with others during group sessions. Vaccination records should generally be current within the past 12 months. Bring your dog's vaccination certificate to the first session or enquire in advance whether copies can be submitted digitally via WhatsApp. If your dog's vaccinations are not current, schedule a vet visit before booking.

Is K9 Academy licensed and insured?

K9 Academy is ACRA-registered and verified by KakiList, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity. No regulatory licences are listed on this profile — note that AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) licensing is specifically required for boarding and grooming facilities, but training-focused providers operate under a different framework. You should confirm directly with K9 Academy whether they hold any AVS-related approvals and what insurance coverage is in place in the event of an incident during a training session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
