When enquiring about training services, it is helpful to share your pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these factors often influence the programme recommended. Have your dog's vaccination records ready, as most reputable trainers require proof of up-to-date vaccinations before commencing sessions. You may wish to ask about a trial visit to assess how your pet responds to the trainer and environment before committing to a full programme. Clarify whether sessions are conducted via drop-off at their Lakepoint Drive premises or on a mobile basis at your home, and discuss whether a recurring training schedule suits your dog's progress and your own availability.
To take the next step, reach out to K9 Matters Squad Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your pet's profile and training goals, and request details on current availability and programme options.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
I’m really grateful to have found Glen/ K9 matters Squad. Their approach to helping dogs build confidence and good walking habits truly stands out. Glen would break down reasons behind the behaviour (pulling, walking against the wall etc), and explain and guide the behaviour properly, he would teach the exact ways of handling length of leash, points to touch the dog.Instead of relying on treats or quick fixes, he focused on real behaviour guidance and customised the training to fit my dog’s triggers and my own handling style Before this, I couldn’t walk for more than five minutes without my dog pulling. Now, she walks so much better beside me and can even pass her usual triggers — like fowl in the park or other dogs — without getting overwhelmed. I’m thankful for the Glens patience, clear guidance, and genuine care for both dog and owner. Highly recommend K9 matters. Daycare with K9 matters also helped to socialise my dog alot and sped up her being used to around other dogs
I had a great experience with Kes! He was very attentive and addressed many of my concerns in just a short session, even things I hadn’t thought of before. My dog stopped pulling like crazy just a few minutes into the training. Kes also shared practical and insightful advice that made a big difference. Highly recommend if you’re looking for proper guidance or need help training your dog, as they’re great at identifying issues and providing the right solutions!
Glen and his team has been nothing short of a miracle worker for my 2 Shiba Inu boys. After struggling with reactivity issues for months, I was starting to lose hope. Then we found Glen and his team, and everything changed. As a balanced dog trainer, Glen and his team perfectly blends positive reinforcement with appropriate corrections, which was exactly what my 2 boys needed. From our first session, Glen and his team took the time to understand the root of my boys reactivity. They tailored a customised training plan that addressed not just the symptoms but the underlying causes of their behaviours. The balanced approach provided my boys with clear, consistent boundaries while also building confidence and trust. I was amazed at how quickly my boys began to respond—there was a noticeable improvement after just a few sessions. Bearing in my mind one of their key triggers for aggression are people of the male gender. Both the boys are always so happy and excited to see him and his team. It’s a joy to see the trust and bond Glen and his team has fostered with my boys. One of the most impressive aspects of working with Glen was his ability to create a calm and structured environment that helped my dog feel safe and secure. More importantly he taught me how to communicate effectively with my boys which made a world of difference in managing reactive episodes. Training the dogs is one thing but training the owner as well is a whole different skill set altogether. Glen and his team has imparted on me the knowledge and skills needed to manage my boys effectively and safely. Walks are now less stressful and enjoyable for both my boys and I. The transformation has been incredible. My boys are now much more relaxed and able to handle situations that would have previously triggered an aggressive reaction which includes redirecting and biting me the owner. I can't express how grateful I am for Glen and his team’s expertise, patience, and unwavering support throughout this journey. I join them with my 2 boys for their morning pack walks. If you're dealing with a reactive dog, Glen is the trainer you need. The balanced training approach truly works, and I highly recommend K9 matters to anyone facing similar challenges."
Highly recommend the course! Kesa our trainer provided us (the humans) with knowledge on how to handle the dogs, communicate and correct them when required. Harrymautiger attend the basic obedience course when he was 8 months old. The course focus on how we as owner should do to correct undesirable behaviour. I learn so much attending the course! Life is happy when you have a dog who knows boundaries and respect you. Strangers enjoy Harry, we are happy to bring Harry out and Harry is happy he can go out. Win-win-win for everyone..
Thank you so much Glen, for your help in training Fluffy and addressing the barking issue. Your guidance and techniques have made such a difference, and we’re already seeing great improvements. We truly appreciate your patience, expertise, and the care you put into your work. Definitely will recommend to others!

Most pet training providers in Singapore require dogs to be vaccinated against DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and to hold a valid rabies vaccination where applicable. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required, particularly for group training sessions or any facility where multiple dogs interact. Vaccinations are generally expected to have been administered within the past 12 months. You should bring physical proof — such as a vaccination card from your vet — to the first session or drop-off. Puppies that have not completed their full vaccination course may face restrictions on participation. Contact K9 Matters Squad Pte Ltd directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before your first visit, as policies can vary by programme type.
K9 Matters Squad Pte Ltd is registered with ACRA and has been verified by KakiList, confirming that basic business and contact details have been independently checked. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile. Note that the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licensing requirement under the National Parks Board applies primarily to boarding and grooming facilities; pet training services do not carry a mandatory AVS licence in Singapore, so the absence of one here is not necessarily a concern. That said, it is reasonable to ask the provider directly about their insurance coverage — specifically whether there is any protection in place should a pet be injured or fall unwell during a training session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
