I visited Kacee Eyecare in Jan 2026 to embark on Ortho-K with Amanda as my Optometrist. She was extremely knowledgeable and her store was well equipped for all the necessary eye checks - including anatomical integrity (not just vision). She was extremely swift and thorough during eye examinations. Clear instructions, and very efficient. She showed me the exam images/findings and answered all my questions thoroughly. It was very helpful with understanding the status of my vision, how the Ortho-K lens is designed, how and why it works etc. She also demonstrated great clinical skills. I had an appointment with one of her colleagues to help me with the first Ortho-K hard lens fitting. I initially took close to 25min for my first attempt at lens removal. Then Amanda came by the clinic after she finished teaching at a local tertiary institution, demonstrated the lens removal on me once, was able to identify why I was having difficulty, gave a few instructions, and within 3min I was able to get the lens removed. She also did a quick vision screen on my daughter since she was with me. She had test stimuli and response cards that were age appropriate for a 3 yr old who is pre-literate. She has kids herself and so, knows how to engage children and their parents. The waiting area also has a corner with toys and books for children. I would highly recommend Amanda for both adults and children looking for an Optometrist.

I had a very good experience at Kacee Eye Care. Amanda was extremely friendly, patient, and very detailed in her checks. She did multiple examinations and took the time to explain everything clearly. She gave me helpful advice on which eye drops to use and how to properly clean my eyelids. She also reassured me and even checked my eye pressure just to be extra cautious and make sure there wasn’t anything serious. I really appreciated her thoroughness and care. Highly recommend Kacee Eye Care for anyone looking for professional and reassuring eye care.

My girl has been wearing glasses since she was 3 years old because she was diagnosed with hyperopia. However, we have only stumbled upon Kacee this year because my girl wanted a particular frame. That's when we encountered Amanda, she gave us very good advice on the frame to choose and explained patiently why my daughter needed a particular kind of frame that fits her. I have not met any optometrist who had explained so thoroughly to me as she did. When what was available in the store wasn't what my daughter was looking for, she called the supplier and immediately got back to me within the day. She went the extra mile trying to get the frame that my daughter wanted and which was suitable for her. I strongly recommend kacee eye care and I am definitely going back to Amanda, knowing how knowledgeable, meticulous and dedicated she is to her job. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience with Amanda, who saw both my 6-year-old son and myself. She was thorough and patient, especially with my son, who was fidgeting and asking lots of questions. She reassured me that he didn’t need glasses. As for me, she was very informative and provided a clear prescription. What I appreciated most was that she wasn’t pushy, she recommended a few brands but didn’t pressure me to buy glasses from her shop. She even followed up via WhatsApp to check in. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring optometrist!

We wanted to get Ortho-K lenses for our son to control his myopia, but we had apprehensions about letting a 6-year-old wear hard contact lenses and sleep in them. A friend recommended Kacee Eye Care and we are glad we went with them. Amanda is friendly and knowledgeable and highly experienced in orthokeratology in kids. We also feel her service is more personalised than other optometrists. During the first few sessions after the lenses arrived, our son, or rather, his eye reflexes refused to let us put the lenses in his eyes. Amanda patiently taught us how to insert and remove the lenses from his eyes and even arranged free extra sessions until we are completely comfortable with the handling of the lenses. The lenses fit our son’s cornea perfectly. Our son’s prescription before staring Ortho-K was -2.50 SPH on both eyes. Now he has near perfect vision during daytime. Would highly recommend Ortho-K at Kacee Eye Care!
